The possibility of space travel and all the dangers and adventures it may hold has been the subject of speculative science fiction for decades. Getting lost in outer space on a hostile planet is not a prospect that any sane person would look forward to.

‘The Invincible’ is a novel written by Stanislaw Lem and serves as the inspiration for the events of ‘The Invincible’ video game.

‘The Invincible’ follows the adventures of a space scientist who wakes up to find his entire crew missing and must land on the planet ‘Regis III’ to try and find them. Players must embark on a daring mission to save the crew and find a way off the planet.

As it turns out, ‘Regis III’ isn’t exactly a roll-out-the-red-carpet type planet and is rather more inclined to violently dispose of ‘alien’ visitors. ‘Regis III’ hides deep, dark secrets that, in retrospect, would have been better to just leave undiscovered and unexposed.

Players must fight for their survival on the hostile planet as they search for their crew and investigate the mysteries of the planet. They must fight off hostiles using advanced analog technology inspired by the technology of the space race.

According to developers, ‘The Invincible’ features a non-linear storyline that is directly impacted by the choices that the players make and by the paths that they choose to take.

The game features complex relationships and requires mastery of the art of persuasion if players are to be truly successful in their risky endeavors.

‘The Invincible’ is developed by ‘Starward Industries,’ and is scheduled for a 2022 release on Steam.
