The idea of eternity and the possibility of eternal life is something that has intrigued humans since the beginning of time. Many people fear death for what they believe will come after it, and others fear it for lack of knowing what comes after it.

Choices in life can have life-or-death consequences. Making the wrong choice can cause life to be cut short suddenly and tragically. The chance to change wrong decisions that were made, to have had one less drink, to have driven slightly slower, to have looked before crossing the road, is something that many people have wished for in the wake of a tragic death.

To the knowledge of most people on earth, going back in time to make changes is impossible. But what if it wasn’t? ‘Eternal Thread’ explores the possibility of making changes in the timeline that humanity lives in to prevent disastrous tragedy and death.

Players take on the role of an “operative” who has been tasked with fixing corruption in the human timeline. According to developers, the story revolves around a fictional house fire in May 2015 in England that results in the death of the six housemates living there.

Players must play as the agent, influencing decisions made by each housemate during the days leading up to the tragedy to ensure that all 6 housemates survive the horrific night during which they were all supposed to die.

Players are able to run through the timeline as many times as they want, modifying choices and altering the train of events with each try until all the housemates survive.

‘Eternal Threads’ is developed by ‘Cosmonaut Studios and is on Steam.
