While you have to get this gun as a reward from playing Gambit, this adaptive frame Void auto rifle handles nicely and has decent range and stability. Even if you don’t get the perks you want, Gnawing Hunger will carve through enemies like a finely crafted knife through a slow-roasted turkey.

No lie, but this shotgun was/is one of the most effective shotguns in PvP. This Iron Banner weapon has a great curated roll that made it famous, or infamous if you were on the wrong end. 10/10 still angry about being destroyed by this gun.

Dire Promise is a hand cannon that has the awesome look of a classic revolver but the power you would expect from a sci-fi six-shooter, (it has 11 rounds by the way.) It’s a consistent hand cannon with some good rolls.

4. SUROS Regime (PvP)

This beloved exotic featured in the first Destiny is around and kicking. The SUROS Regime is consistent and dominates in PvP. Its exotic perk SUROS Legacy adds bonus damage and can heal you when you reach the bottom half of your magazine, making you quite the beast.

Revoker is an aggressive frame rifle that’s surprisingly forgiving when you miss, thanks to one of its perks. Reversal of Fortune, which gives you back the rounds that missed, theoretically giving you infinite ammo.

Hey, do you like swords? Yes, you do. Look at this sword. It’s great for PvE and will make all your friends jealous if you have any that is. . It chops up bosses like they’re soft-baked veggies and is amazing at DPS thanks to it’s spinning attack. It’s a very nice sword, so get it if you want to be a cool kid.

Vortex Frame: Launch a heavy spin attack. Heavy attacks are stronger with full energy. Attacks partially bypass elemental shields.

Whirlwind Blade: Rapid sword strikes increase this weapon's damage for a short duration. Guarding also ends the effect.

7. The Recluse (PvP, PvE)

The Recluse is a Lightweight frame Void submachine gun. It’s trait Feeding Frenzy increases your reload speed when you get multi-kills. This trait makes it a very good option in PvE as well. It’s other perk, Master of Arms, increases the damage this weapon does when you get kills with ANY weapon that’s equipped, it was one of the META weapons for a long while.

8. Izanagi’s Burden (PvE, Gambit)

This rifle packs a pretty hard punch when you use its Exotic perk, which consumes all the bullets in a magazine and exchanges them for a round that has more damage and range. Great for boss fights where that extra damage counts.

A weapon from our beloved Titan buddy Saint-14, Breachlight is a kinetic primary sidearm that is a beast for most activities. It’s one of three aggressive burst sidearms in the game, firing a two-round burst. This gun is reliable and has some great rolls.
