[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Goyo Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Goyo Loadouts in R6 Siege
Updated:
11 Jul 2023

Goyo is one of the operators that has received a lot of changes on his loadout after Operation Commanding Force and Dread Factor, so his loadouts need a closer inspection. A lot of people in the Siege community think that he’s been nerfed with his nitro cell being removed, but I actually think that he’s been buffed, and his new utilities complement his role much better than the nitro cell.

With this updated list of Goyo’s best loadout setups, players will have an in-depth look at how each loadout setup benefits their gameplay, and with that, they’ll have the best performance and experience when using him. We’ll also take a second look at his old weapons and see which setup will benefit him best in the current landscape of Siege.

5. Vector .45 ACP with Scope 1.5x, Muzzle Brake, and Angled Grip + P229 with Suppressor and Laser + Bulletproof Camera

This loadout setup for Goyo might not provide him with the best recoil control on his Vector .45 ACP, however, this is the best setup if the player prefers a more aggressive playstyle and wants more speed. That’s because the angled grip on the Vector .45 ACP will allow the player to go into aim-down-sights stance quicker than normal, and that will benefit Goyo a lot especially when it comes to sudden enemy engagements, because even if the Goyo player and the enemy has the same reaction time and they noticed each other at the same time, Goyo will have the upper hand when it comes to faster aiming.

With that said, the Vector .45 ACP is known for its strong vertical weapon kick, and the angled grip doesn’t add recoil control, so the player will be needing something to hold down the weapon’s recoil. That’s where the muzzle brake comes. The muzzle brake will greatly lower the first shot recoil of the Vector .45 ACP and that helps a lot when it comes to stabilizing the subsequent recoil of the weapon, especially on weapons like the Vector .45 ACP which has a very fast rate of fire and magazine capacity which is in the smaller side.

Excels in:

  • Providing the user with extra aim-down-sights speed boost on the Vector .45 ACP through the use of the angled grip attachment
  • Having the best recoil on the Vector .45 ACP that has an angled grip because the muzzle brake will greatly stabilize its overall weapon kick by weakening its first shot recoil
  • Having the ability to shoot defender gadgets like drones or others silently with the use of the suppressed P229 handgun
  • Providing the whole defending team an extra way to gather intel with the bulletproof camera as Goyo’s generic gadget which can also shoot EMP blasts
  • Having a good amount of zoom on the Vector .45 ACP because of the scope 1.5x while not losing a lot of peripheral view because the zoom level is not too high

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Vector .45 ACP with Scope 1.5x, Muzzle Brake, and Angled Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P229 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Bulletproof Camera

4. Vector .45 ACP with Scope 1.5x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + P229 with Suppressor and Laser + Proximity Alarm

If what the Goyo player is looking for in his setup for the Vector .45 ACP is recoil control, then this loadout setup is the best. That’s because it provides the best recoil control possible on the Vector .45 ACP and what makes it possible is the combination of the compensator and the vertical grip. The vertical grip, as its name implies, specializes in lowering the weapon’s vertical recoil, while the compensator specializes in reducing the size of weapons’ recoil diamond, and the result of that is that the weapon will have a reduced horizontal and random recoil from all directions.

So this loadout set provides the Goyo player with a great balance between horizontal and vertical recoil and especially now that the compensator has received a tremendous amount of boost on its recoil control benefits, in a lot of weapons like the Vector .45 ACP, it’s actually the go-to barrel attachment for recoil control instead of the flash hider. As you can see from the recoil test below, the hits from this setup’s Vector .45 ACP are a lot more compact and go more into a vertical line compared to the other recoil tests in this list.

Excels in:

  • Greatly lowering the Vector .45 ACP’s tendency for horizontal and random recoil from all directions because of the compensator reducing its recoil diamond size
  • Maintaining a good amount of vertical recoil control on Goyo’s Vector .45 ACP because of the presence of the vertical grip attachment
  • Having a good amount of zoom with Goyo’s Vector .45 ACP through the scope 1.5x which also doesn’t sacrifice a lot of peripheral view
  • Providing the Goyo player with the ability to shoot attacker drones and other gadgets silently with the suppressor on the P229 handgun
  • Having two good early warning devices in the proximity alarms which also plays well in conjunction to Goyo’s Volcan Canisters as they’ll tell Goyo if enemies are near one of his Volcan Canisters

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Vector .45 ACP with Scope 1.5x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P229 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Proximity Alarm

3. TCSG12 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + P229 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Proximity Alarm

This loadout setup with the TCSG12 shotgun as its primary weapon is in the middle because it’s kind of situational. Obviously, the Vector .45 ACP is easier to use because it’s fully automatic, however, if the player has a lot of experience using the TCSG12, then this loadout setup is recommended. That’s especially the case when no one else in the defending team has a utility for reworking the map. With the TCSG12 shotgun, Goyo will be able to create rotation holes, open more lines of sight on unreinforced walls, and it will also allow him to destroy unreinforced hatches.

So not only is the TCSG12 a great weapon for fragging enemies, it can be used as a great utility as well. As for using it for fragging enemies, the TCSG12 inflicts heavy damage per shot, and since the suppressor is its only available barrel attachment, the player might as well attach it since there’s no more drawback to using it, and take advantage of its stealth benefits. With the suppressor on Goyo’s TCSG12, the player will be shooting enemies without providing them a directional threat indicator and a muzzle flash that’ll immediately tell them where they’re being shot from.

Excels in:

  • Inflicting heavy damage per shot because the TCSG12 is a shotgun that shoots a single-slug per shot and each of those slugs have high damage
  • The high destruction rate per shot from the TCSG12 will allow the Goyo player to use it as a utility for creating rotation holes, lines of sight, as well as destroy unreinforced hatches
  • The suppressor on Goyo’s TCSG12 will allow him to shoot enemies without a directional threat indicator and a muzzle flash, and it will also greatly silence the weapon’s gunshots
  • Having a great recoil control on Goyo’s TCSG12 because of the presence of the vertical grip which specializes in lowering the vertical weapon kick of weapons
  • Having the best recoil control on the P229 handgun because of the muzzle brake, and the laser will make its hip fire spread tighter
  • Providing Goyo with two good early warning devices in the proximity alarms which he can use to let him know when enemies are near his Volcan Canisters

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - TCSG12 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P229 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Proximity Alarm

2. Vector .45 ACP with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + P229 with Suppressor and Laser + Impact Grenade

This loadout setup takes advantage of the new addition to Goyo’s available utilities which is the impact grenade. Like I said in the introduction, a lot of Goyo players were salty when his nitro cell was removed, but I actually think that the impact grenade benefits Goyo’s gameplay better. With the impact grenade in his arsenal, he can quickly create rotation holes or destroy unreinforced hatches. He can use that for flanking or escaping enemies. He can also use the impact grenades as an extra way of detonating his Volcan Canisters during situations where he can’t directly shoot them.

As for the Vector .45 ACP in this loadout setup, this one will provide the best damage possible on the weapon. That’s because the extended barrel now adds 12% damage on weapons while also retaining its previous benefit of greatly reducing the weapon’s range damage drop-off. This means that no matter what the distance is, the Vector .45 ACP will be inflicting its best damage possible to enemies. This loadout setup also provides Goyo with the ability to silently shoot defender gadgets with the use of his suppressed P229 handgun.

Excels in:

  • Having the best damage possible on Goyo’s Vector .45 ACP regardless of distance because of the extended barrel adding 12% damage to the weapon and reducing its range damage drop-off
  • Having a good amount of vertical recoil control on Vector .45 ACP because of the vertical grip attachment greatly lowering the weapon’s vertical kick
  • Providing the Goyo player with a good amount of zoom while not sacrificing a lot of peripheral view with the scope 1.5x on his Vector .45 ACP
  • Being able to shoot enemy gadgets with less chance of alerting them with the use of Goyo’s suppressed P229 handgun
  • Providing Goyo with the ability to quickly create rotation holes, destroy unreinforced hatches, and detonate his Volcan Canisters with the use of his two impact grenades

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Vector .45 ACP with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P229 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

While the Vector .45 ACP has a strong weapon kick, if the player is experienced enough, they’d be able to hold down its recoil relatively well, even with just the vertical grip being the only attachment that adds recoil control on the weapon. That’s why it is best to attach a suppressor to it even though it doesn’t provide additional control benefits. Because with a suppressor on Goyo’s Vector .45 ACP, the player can shoot enemies silently and without providing them a directional threat indicator that will tell them where the shots are coming from.

Unlike the extended barrel in the above entry, the suppressor will also not add damage benefits to the weapon, but the stealth benefits from using a suppressor will outweigh that drawback. Since the enemies won’t immediately have a good idea of where the player is shooting from with this setup, that means that the player will be safer from counter attacks. The silent gunshots from the Vector .45 ACP in this setup will also lessen the chances of the player not hearing sound cues from enemies, thus, lessening the chances of the player being caught off guard by a flanking enemy.

Excels in:

  • Shooting enemies with Goyo’s Vector .45 ACP without a directional threat indicator and a muzzle flash so it could take some time before they figure out where Goyo is shooting from
  • The silent gunshots from the suppressed Vector .45 ACP will make it even harder for enemies to find Goyo and will also allow him to hear the sound cues from enemies better
  • Maintaining a good amount of vertical recoil control on Goyo’s Vector .45 ACP with the presence of the vertical grip attachment
  • The scope 1.5x on Goyo’s Vector .45 ACP providing a good amount of zoom level which is perfect for the distance that Goyo usually operates in
  • The muzzle break providing the best recoil control on Goyo’s P229 handgun and the laser greatly tightening its hip fire spread
  • The two impact grenades on Goyo’s arsenal allowing him to rework the map to his advantage and are also great for detonating his Volcan Canisters

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Vector .45 ACP with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P229 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade
