15. 552 Commando (DPS: 541)

https://youtu.be/IZADBqNQFMw?si=OZwnD22LWFvxjqgI&t=495

The 552 Commando assault rifle, available to IQ and now to Grim as well, is one of the most popular weapons in Siege, even to those who do not really know that it has one of the highest dps in the game. That’s because to anyone who has used it, it really feels light, easy to use, and it makes quick work of enemies. Well that’s really because its damage is high, its recoil is low, and its rate of fire is really decent. And that’s basically why its damage per second is so high, because it ultimately boils down to damage and rate of fire.

To get the damage per second rating of a weapon, you’ll have to take the damage, multiply it to the rate of fire, and then divide it to sixty. So it only follows that the weapons that have high damage and rate of fire like the 552 Commando will be on this list. With that said, it’s not only its high damage per second rating that makes the 552 commando a great weapon. Yes, it has high damage, low recoil, and a pretty fast rate of fire, but it’s also compatible with a wide variety of attachments, making it highly customizable according to the user’s own playstyle.

Why 552 Commando is powerful:

  • Among fully automatic weapons, the 552 Commando has one of the highest damage ratings, and combining that to its decent rate of fire, it can really make short work of enemies
  • The 552 Commando assault rifle has a very manageable recoil and that plays a huge role in Siege because it directly affects the user’s accuracy when fragging opponents
  • The 552 Commando is compatible to a wide variety of attachments, so the user can really customize it according to their own playstyle or the map they’re playing in
  • Its range damage drop-off is quite low so even though it’s not compatible to the extended barrel which would have lessened its range damage drop-off even more, this weapon will excel at any range

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 47
  • Fire Rate - 690
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 30

14. M762 (DPS: 547)

https://youtu.be/yoTLnYfgKpU?si=fjwKxpHhUkOy-BvV&t=57

Zofia’s unique assault rifle is one of the weapons with the highest dps, and that would probably not be a surprise to anyone who’s been playing Zofia and using the M762 instead of the LMG-E. The weapon may not have the most manageable recoil in the game, especially in the old school Siege days, but it can definitely make quick work of enemies, especially at close to medium range. The M762 assault rifle is basically the reason why it’s quite scary to meet Zofia in a one-on-one encounter when you’re a defender because it’ll be hard to win against her.

That’s obviously because of its high damage, and its rate of fire is even higher than the 552 commando above, which makes it not surprising that its damage per second is higher. But since its rate of fire is higher, that means it can be harder to control. The good news though is that it’s also compatible with a wide variety of attachments, and if you attach recoil control providing attachments to the M762, its recoil can be very manageable. Most veteran players are fine controlling its recoil even with only one recoil control providing attachment.

Why M762 is powerful:

  • Like the 552 Commando above, its damage is very high, and its rate of fire is even higher, so it only makes sense that its damage per second rating is higher as well
  • Zofia’s M762 assault rifle is a perfect weapon for close to medium range encounters which makes it a great weapon for her because those are the distances where she usually operates
  • The M762 assault rifle is compatible with the scope 2.0x which is probably the best sight in the game right now because it has a great balance between high levels of zoom and peripheral view
  • It also has a wide variety of attachments seeing as it’s compatible with all the barrel attachments except for the extended barrel

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 45
  • Fire Rate - 730
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 30

13. ARX200 (DPS: 548)

https://youtu.be/6nyvuZSzEiQ?si=ZeWlydZkbdKG3UBj&t=134

Nomad and Iana’s ARX200 suffers from its low magazine capacity, and that’s the primary reason why a lot of players are turned off by it, but since we’re talking about DPS in this article, we cannot not include it. That’s because as mentioned before, one can get the DPS of a weapon by multiplying its damage to its rate of fire and dividing the results with sixty. And since the ARX200 assault rifle has a high damage and pretty fast rate of fire, it’s only natural that its DPS is up there among the best guns where DPS is concerned.

It does have other things going for it though, but mostly, the ARX200 is a better weapon in the hands of Nomad than with Iana. That’s because Nomad can equip it with high-powered scopes like the scopes 1.5x, 2.0x, and 2.5x. Its recoil can also be very easily controlled so that means the user will have good accuracy with this weapon, regardless of distance. And while its magazine capacity is low, it makes up for that drawback by having a fast reload speed. Now to be honest, I’d still use the alternative weapon when playing Nomad or Iana, but I can see the ARX200 being the go-to weapon for Nomad and Iana players looking for the best DPS.

Why ARX200 is powerful:

  • It has a really high damage, even for a n assault rifle, and its rate of fire is also quite high, and that’s why its DPS is so high. With the ARX200, the user can really make quick work of enemies
  • At least for operator Nomad, the ARX200 assault rifle is compatible with high powered scopes like the 1.5x, 2.0x, and the 2.0x, which will be great for her accuracy
  • Its reload is very manageable, so even though it has a lower magazine capacity, if the user can hit opponents well with good accuracy, in many cases the low magazine capacity wouldn’t matter much
  • Another thing that can offset the small magazine capacity drawback a bit is its fast reload speed, which the user will be glad to have when being surrounded by enemies

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 47
  • Fire Rate - 700
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 20

12. M4 (DPS: 550)

https://youtu.be/qVArzqvzo68?si=IBjwrcptJt3oE76I&t=100

The M4 is the go-to weapon for Maverick users who prefer to have a fully automatic weapon rather than the alternative which is a designated marksman rifle and is obviously a single-shot weapon. Like the prior weapons we’ve discussed, the M4 assault rifle has a lot of firepower partnered with a fast rate of fire, and that’s why its damage per second is high. High DPS is important for Maverick because there would be a lot of times where he’d be shooting enemies through the holes that he’s made using his Breaching Torch.

Obviously, when shooting opponents within that small window of opportunity, it’s best if you can inflict as much damage as you can, and the M4 will provide that. With the M4’s high DPS, there’s even a high chance that Maverick will be able to kill the enemy that he’s shooting through a hole before they’re able to get out of his line of sight. The great thing about the M4 is despite its high damage and rate of fire, it’s a weapon that is very easy to control, so that means it can excel at any range as its recoil won’t negatively affect the user’s accuracy.

Why M4 is powerful:

  • It has the combination of having high firepower and rate of fire, and that’s why its damage per second rating is high. That allows it to make short work of Maverick’s enemies.
  • The M4 assault rifle’s recoil is very manageable, and that allows Maverick to excel at any range, because the low recoil means good accuracy even at long distances
  • Maverick can attach high powered scopes like the scope 1.5x and 2.0x to it, and they will really allow him to see his enemies well, regardless of distance and that’s very important for his role
  • It can be equipped with an extended barrel which will make its DPS even higher as the extended barrel attachment now adds more damage to weapons

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 44
  • Fire Rate - 750
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 30

11. C8-SFW (DPS: 558)

https://youtu.be/3bZFIEjHjww?si=C8ow6c9MusJlDEbo&t=6

If one just looks at their stats, one might immediately notice how much lower the damage of the C8-SFW is compared to the weapons we’ve already discussed above. However, it has a higher damage per second rating than them because its rate of fire is much higher. Having a rate of fire of eight hundred and more rating makes the C8-SFW one of the fastest guns in the game when it comes to fire rate. And while its damage is lower than the weapons above, it’s still far from being a low damage weapon.

Of course, the higher the rate of fire is, the tendency for the weapon’s recoil to be higher is also greater. That’s why the C8-SFW has a pretty strong vertical weapon kick. However, since its recoil pattern mostly only goes vertically, it can still feel quite easy to control. In fact, a lot of veteran players can handle its recoil well even with having the vertical grip as the only recoil control providing attachment on the weapon while they go for the suppressor or extended barrel for its muzzle. The C8-SFW is a menace at close to medium range because of all these.

Why C8-SFW is powerful:

  • It has a really fast rate of fire, and combine that with its very decent damage rating, it can churn out a lot of damage per second and make quick work of enemies especially at close to medium range
  • It can be equipped with the scope 1.5x which is a great sight because it will provide the user with a good amount of zoom while also not compromising a lot on peripheral view
  • Even though it has a fast rate of fire, the C8-SFW's recoil isn’t that hard to control and that’s because its recoil pattern mostly only goes vertically and is not that prone to horizontal recoil
  • It has a wide variety of attachments, especially in the barrel department as all barrel attachments are available to it, making it highly customizable to the user’s own playstyle

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 40
  • Fire Rate - 837
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 30

10. R4-C (DPS: 559)

https://youtu.be/tz5em1gJNLc?si=Pg1nfSS_4ouQIIQ-&t=48

The R4-C is a unique assault rifle for Ash and Ram, although, and a lot of Ash mains are quite sad about this – it’s more powerful in the hands of Ram. That's because Ram can equip it with high powered scopes like the scope 1.5x and 2.0x. Both of which are great because they provide the user with a good amount of zoom without sacrificing a lot of peripheral view. The R4-C is a popular weapon even back when Ram wasn’t available and even when it lost its compatibility with high powered scopes on Ash because it has good damage and fast rate of fire.

Because of its good amount of damage per shot and really fast rate of fire, it can down an enemy in a short amount of time, especially at close to medium range. What’s more is that despite its intimidating recoil pattern image inside the game, how it feels in the field is much different. That’s because its weapon kick is actually quite easy to control despite its fast rate of fire. That’s why I personally only need a vertical grip for managing its recoil, and for its barrel, I’d go for either the suppressor or the extended barrel for other benefits than additional recoil control.

Why R4-C is powerful:

  • It inflicts a good amount of damage per shot and its rate of fire is really fast, so especially at close to medium range, it can put an enemy down very quickly
  • Ram can equip her R4-C with high powered scopes like the scope 1.5x and 2.0x which will provide her with good accuracy. Ash can only equip hers with 1.0x sights but that’s alright at close to medium range
  • Its recoil is actually very easy to control and despite its intimidating in-game recoil pattern image, its propensity for horizontal recoil is actually quite low, making it easier to control
  • It’s compatible to a wide variety of attachments, especially with barrel attachments as all of them are available for the R4-C, making it highly customizable for the map or the user’s playstyle

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 39
  • Fire Rate - 860
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 30

9. C7E (DPS: 560)

https://youtu.be/0n-0BYc3ZHk?si=ecCXbM6pbuJDAkZO&t=11

The C7E assault rifle is unique to Jackal and is a great weapon for him as a roamer hunter because most roamers move quickly and have a lot of means to escape. So usually, roam clearers like Jackal only have a small window on their line of sight where they have a clear shot of the roamer. Obviously, during that small window where Jackal can shoot the enemy, it’s best if he could inflict as much damage as possible, and with the high damage per second rating of that C7E, that’s very possible. That’s even better now that it’s been buffed.

The buff that I’m talking about is that its magazine capacity has been increased from twenty-five to thirty. Now that may not look like a lot on paper, but it is a pretty big buff, because that extra five bullets can mean life and death in Siege. The higher the magazine capacity is, the better of course, because it lessens the regularity of you having to reload, and that’s especially important when the user is in the middle of combat. Like the weapons we’ve already discussed above, the C7E possesses high firepower and fast rate of fire, making it one of the deadliest weapons in the game.

Why C7E is powerful:

  • It’s now been buffed to have thirty magazine capacity from twenty-five. That increased magazine size lessens the chances that the user will have to reload in the middle of combat
  • It dishes out high damage per shot and it does so with a fast rate of fire, making its damage per second rating higher than most weapons in Siege
  • Its reload time is quite fast, and that’s very important because obviously, the faster the user can finish reloading, the faster they can go back to shooting, and shooting is the best form of defense in Siege
  • Jackal can equip it with a scope 2.0x which would be a great help when it comes to roaming as it’ll allow the user to see enemies well while also not eating up a lot of peripheral view

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 42
  • Fire Rate - 800
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 30

8. AK-12 (DPS: 567)

https://youtu.be/zl4yIwxI-Ww?si=EguDvYCYoKpdnBc9&t=366

The AK-12 assault rifle, available to Fuze and Ace, used to be within the top five in terms of damage per second. Some nerfs throughout the years have made its DPS lower, thus, it’s not in the top five anymore. However, it’s still one of the best weapons in the game when it comes to DPS and that’s' why it’s on this list. Anyone who’s used this weapon knows how deadly it can be and how it can really make short work of enemies at close to medium range, and that’s because of its high damage and very fast rate of fire, although that fast rate of fire brings about the weapon’s only drawback.

Because of its high rate of fire, the AK-12's weapon kick can be quite rough to manage, especially when the user is performing a long spray. Its rough recoil is mainly because of its high propensity for horizontal and random recoil from all directions, which is only amplified by its fast rate of fire. With that said, this weapon is a menace at close to medium range, because at those distances, the rough recoil would mean less, as regardless of the weapon kick, it’s just easier to hit enemies the closer they are to you.

Why AK-12 is powerful:

  • It has a really fast rate of fire, even for an assault rifle, and it also inflicts a really good amount of damage per shot, and with that combination, this weapon can make short work of enemies
  • Fuze can equip all the high-powered scopes from the scope 1.5x to the 2.5x to it, while Ace can equip it with a scope 1.5x. These sights will allow the AK-12 user to have good accuracy regardless of distance
  • It’s quite customizable since it’s compatible with a lot of attachments. All barrel attachments except for the extended barrel is available to it, and as mentioned, high powered scopes can be attached to it

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 40
  • Fire Rate - 850
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 30

7. Type-89 (DPS: 567)

https://youtu.be/iIMD_D_A-uI?si=PZjmFimtFyxZMRab&t=277

The Type-89 assault rifle is the only fully automatic weapon that is available to Hibana as her primary weapon, and for a lot of players, that makes it a no-brainer to just run with the Type-89. Obviously, a fully automatic assault rifle would be easier to use than a shotgun. Not only will the user not have to click again and again during enemy encounters, it can also hit enemies much further than the effective range of shotguns. However, the Type-89 comes with a pretty big drawback, and a lot of players get turned off because of it.

That drawback is its small magazine size. At twenty bullets per magazine, there would be a lot of times that Hibana will get surrounded by enemies and will have to reload in the middle of combat. That reload can really put Hibana in a vulnerable spot. With that said, the Type-89 is still a great weapon due to its high damage and rate of fire. Its recoil is also quite rough, but many players can control it even with just one recoil control providing attachment. It’s also compatible with the scope 1.5x and scope 2.0x which would help players shoot their enemies with good accuracy.

Why Type-89 is powerful:

  • Its fast rate of fire allows it to inflict a lot of damage to enemies in a short period of time, and because its stock damage is also good, it can really be one of the most lethal weapons at close to medium range
  • Its range damage drop-off is pretty mild compared to other weapons, so even though the extended barrel isn’t compatible to it, Hibana would still be able to dish out good damage at longer distances
  • High powered scopes like the scope 1.5x and 2.0x are compatible to it and they would allow Hibana to see enemies well at medium to long range, and that would translate to good accuracy
  • It’s compatible to a wide variety of attachments so even though its recoil can be quite rough, if the user equips it with the right attachments, its weapon kick can be quite easy to control

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 40
  • Fire Rate - 850
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 20

6. C75 Auto (DPS: 583)

https://youtu.be/aMh_vEb-J98?si=uhBzmZ3yIwbIcxYa&t=13

The C75 Auto is a machine pistol available as a secondary weapon for Dokkaebi, Vigil, Kali, and Thorn. If not for its horrible default iron sights which players cannot change, it can easily be the best machine pistol in the game. That’s because its recoil is very manageable despite its ultra-high rate of fire. Its damage is also pretty high for a secondary weapon, and with its decent magazine size, it’s pretty much in the primary weapon caliber and is basically a mini submachine gun, but like I said, the only drawback is that its default iron sights can make it hard to aim.

But if the player uses it in the right distance, which is close range, then the drawback won’t matter that much, because at close range, pinpoint accuracy means less. That’s why the C75 Auto is such a great secondary weapon. It allows the player to finish off their enemies effectively when their primary weapon needs to be reloaded in the middle of combat. With the C75 Auto, the operators that can use it can equip high-risk weapons for their primary like the BOSG.12.2 for Dokkaebi and Vigil, and the M870 shotgun for Thorn.

Why C75 Auto is powerful:

  • Its rate of fire reaching the one thousand number means its ultra-fast, so it’s able to inflict a lot of damage to enemies in a short period of time
  • Its damage is pretty high for a secondary weapon. In fact, it's as high as many primary weapons in Siege. Combined with its very fast rate of fire, the C75 Auto can really make short work of enemies
  • For a machine pistol with an ultra-fast rate of fire, the C75 Auto’s magazine capacity is actually very decent, so with its stats alone, it’s actually in the primary weapon caliber
  • The best thing about the C75 Auto is its very manageable recoil. Despite its ultra-fast rate of fire, its weapon kick is very easy to handle, so at close to medium range, the user will have good accuracy

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 35
  • Fire Rate - 1000
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 26

5. SMG-12 (DPS: 593)

https://youtu.be/nbOtdDqHAko?si=uZHoFIs9ukjD8-Yz&t=9

The SMG-12 is another machine pistol in this list that is available as a secondary weapon to Warden, Dokkaebi, and Vigil. The SMG-12, along with its cousin, the SMG-11, are basically the reasons why operators that have them can afford to use shotguns as their primary. That’s because obviously, shotguns have a limited range and their reload time is quite slow, but with the SMG-11, it’ll be like having a fully automatic mini submachine gun as an alternative weapon when the player needs to shoot enemies at longer distances or when their primary needs reloading.

As one can see from its stats alone, the SMG-12 is a mini monster. Its damage per shot is pretty good, but what makes it really great is its very high fire rate, and its magazine size is actually pretty big. And unlike the C75 Auto above, the player can change its default sights to whichever 1.0x sight they prefer. That’s a big up to the player’s accuracy. However, the SMG-12 comes with a big drawback of an equally monstrous recoil. Both of its vertical and horizontal recoil are really strong, so it can be quite challenging for players to handle it, especially for long sprays.

Why SMG-12 is powerful:

  • Unlike the C75 Auto above, the SMG-12 can be equipped with any 1.0x sight that the user prefers. That’s a big help to their accuracy, especially when trying to hit enemies at medium or longer distances
  • Its rate of fire is among the highest in Siege, and that will allow the player to inflict as much damage as possible in just a short period of time
  • For a secondary weapon, its magazine capacity is actually pretty high, and that lessens the chances of the user having to reload it in the middle of a gun fight
  • Its recoil can be very challenging to handle, but in short bursts, it’s very deadly because of its good amount of damage per shot and ultra-fast rate of fire. It’s actually a headshot machine.

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 28
  • Fire Rate - 1270
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 32

4. SC3000K (DPS: 600)

https://youtu.be/-UvEgSqonlg?si=oraabcB4znLVxN-n&t=13

The SC3000K is one of the newest guns in Siege and is available for use with operator Zero, a.k.a. Sam Fisher. As one can see from its stats, it has a fast rate of fire and high damage, and that’s where its high damage per second rating comes from. That high DPS is great for Zero because of his role. A lot of times, he’d be using his observation tool to control his Argus cameras for disabling gadgets and gathering intel, so there would also be a lot of time when he’d have to quickly switch from the observation tool into his weapon when he’s going to shoot an opponent that he’s peaked through his Argus cam.

That kind of gameplay usually involves only a short window of being able to shoot an opponent, so it’s great for Zero to be able to dish out as much damage as he can for that short period of time. That also applies to when he’s responding to an enemy roamer who’s trying to hit him from behind while he’s controlling his Argus cameras. Another reason why its high DPS is great is because its magazine capacity is on the small side. The high DPS of the weapon basically offsets its drawback of having small magazine capacity, because even though the magazine size is small, each shot from the weapon counts for more.

Why SC3000K is powerful:

  • It has the lethal combination of having high firepower and fast rate of fire, and that’s the reason why its DPS is so high. The SC3000K can finish off an enemy quickly regardless of the distance.
  • Despite its fast rate of fire and heavy stopping power, its weapon kick is quite easy to control, and that’s one of the reasons why this weapon excels at any range
  • It’s compatible with the scopes 1.5x and 2.0x which are great scopes as they have great balance between high zoom levels and peripheral view. With these scopes, the user’s accuracy will be really good
  • It has a wide variety of attachments available to it, which makes it highly customizable according to the user’s playstyle or the map they’re playing on. It’s compatible with all barrel attachments in the game.

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 45
  • Fire Rate - 800
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 25

3. F2 (DPS: 604)

https://youtu.be/hTVrcIbHXiM?si=A228nSxLNEq46eA5&t=16

The F2 assault rifle is so popular to Twitch players that the devs have nerfed it again and again in an effort to make players not ignore the 417 marksman rifle. But even with the nerfs, and the most recent one is the biggest yet, which removed its vertical grip, the F2 is still very popular among players. That’s because it inflicts a pretty good amount of damage per shot, and its rate of fire is almost in the same level as machine pistols, which basically means it’s very fast. It makes quick work of enemies, especially at close to medium range, and that’s why players still choose it when playing Twitch instead of the 417.

However, now that it can’t be equipped with a vertical grip anymore, its recoil can be quite challenging to hold. That doesn’t mean, however, that its recoil would be too rough, because if the player equips it with a flash hider or a muzzle brake, its recoil would still be very manageable, especially if the player sticks to short bursts. Another great thing about the F2 is that it can be attached with a scope 1.5x which is a great sight for the usual distance that Twitch operates in which is close to medium range. With the scope 1.5x, the user will be able to see their enemies well without compromising a lot on peripheral view.

Why F2 is powerful:

  • It inflicts a decent amount of damage per shot and with its fast rate of fire, it can really make quick work of enemies, especially at close to medium range where most of its shots have a high chance of hitting the target
  • Even though the devs have nerfed it a number of times to balance out the pick rate between it and the 417, its recoil is still quite manageable, especially when a flash hider or a muzzle brake is attached to it
  • It can be attached with a scope 1.5x which is a great scope for Twitch’s role as with the scope 1.5x, she’ll be able to target enemies well while also not being at a disadvantage in terms of peripheral view

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 37
  • Fire Rate - 980
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 25

2. Bearing 9 (DPS: 605)

https://youtu.be/CQ-WeK9I3fM?si=F55Mw4QMFFQFNTZC&t=255

The bearing 9 is one of the best secondary weapons in the game because it doesn’t only have high DPS, its weapon kick is also quite manageable. It’s a secondary weapon but it can function like a primary weapon just fine because of its aforementioned manageable recoil and of course, its high DPS which is a result of its decent damage per shot and very fast rate of fire. Its magazine capacity is also quite decent, so it’s really like a mini submachine gun. Another great thing about it is that it can be equipped with any 1.0x sight that the user prefers.

The Bearing 9 is available to Hibana, Echo, Tachanka, Glaz, and Thunderbird, and with the Bearing 9 as their secondary weapon, these operators, except Glaz of course, can afford to equip a shotgun as their primary weapon. That’s because if they need to frag an opponent that is beyond the reach of their shotgun, all they have to do is to switch to their Bearing 9. Its recoil feels manageable because it doesn’t have a strong tendency for horizontal or random recoil from all directions, so when firing this weapon, the user mostly only has to worry about controlling its vertical weapon kick.

Why Bearing 9 is powerful:

  • It has an ultra-fast rate of fire and it inflicts a decent amount of damage per shot, which makes its DPS very high. At close to medium range, the Bearing 9 is a menace and can down an enemy really quickly
  • Despite its very fast rate of fire, the Bearing 9’s weapon kick is very manageable, and that’s because it doesn’t have a strong propensity for horizontal and random recoil from all directions
  • It can be equipped with any 1.0x sight that the user prefers, and that’s a big up for the user’s aim because a good sight has a direct effect on the user’s accuracy
  • For a secondary weapon and a machine pistol, the Bearing 9’s magazine capacity is pretty good, and that lessens the chances of it having to be reloaded in the middle of combat

Weapon Stats:

  • Damage - 33
  • Fire Rate - 1100
  • Mobility - 50
  • Capacity - 25

1. SMG-11 (DPS: 741)

https://youtu.be/chTnx_swyy4?si=Mx-Xyh_C3G1Vy_Hn&t=32

The SMG-11, the machine pistol available as a secondary weapon for Smoke, Mute, Amaru, and Solis, suffers greatly from its small magazine size. However, it more than makes up for that drawback with its good amount of damage per shot and very high rate of fire. Another drawback to using it is that its recoil can be very challenging to control, even if it's equipped with recoil control providing attachments on its barrel and grip. But that drawback can be offset by sticking to short bursts, and with short bursts, this weapon is a monster, especially at close to medium range.

That’s because the closer the enemy is, the less pinpoint accuracy matters, as even hip firing would have a good chance of hitting the target. At medium range, this weapon is a headshot machine, especially when used with the proper crosshair placement. This weapon is basically the reason why Mute, Thunderbird, Amaru, and Smoke, can afford to equip their shotgun as their primary weapon without really limiting themselves when it comes to range. Because when their shotgun needs to be reloaded in the middle of combat and the opponent is outside of a shotgun’s range, they can just easily switch to the SMG-11 and they’ll have a mini submachine gun in their hands.

Why SMG-11 is powerful:

  • It has a very decent damage per shot and its rate of fire is among the fastest, so it can really make quick work of enemies especially at close range where there’s a higher chance that most of its shot will hit
  • It can be attached with any 1.0x sight that the user prefers and as long as the user is comfortable with the sight they’re using, their accuracy with the weapon will be good.
  • It’s compatible with a wide variety of attachments, especially in the barrel department. It can even be equipped with an extended barrel if the user wants to.
  • It has a strong recoil but because of that and its very high rate of fire, it’s actually a headshot machine at close to medium range because there’s a high tendency for its shots to kick right onto the enemy’s head

Weapon Stats:

  • Fire Rate - 1270
