Days gone game has a very large open world map, you need to make sure you have enough juice every time you travel long distance.

The fuel tank you get at the start won’t help you travel much distance and you need to scavenge for gas or find a gas station to be able to refill and start to drive your bike again. This upgrade is by far the most important and practical, unless you want to drag your bike.

Upgrade Details:

  • Makes the capacity to hold more gas.
  • The more gas you can hold, the further you travel in this map.
  • Helps you in situations where you need to go far away to avoid some enemies.
  • You don’t need to scavenge much or very often for a minute of bike ride in real world time.

How to Get the Upgrade:

  • Gas Tank 2 - Copeland Camp, cash 800, trust level of 2, If you want a basic level early in the game.
  • Gas Tank 3 – Iron Mike’s Camp, trust level 2, for a very decent gas tank until you get to wizard island.
  • Gas Tank 5 – Wizard Island, for max fuel capacity which will help you fast travel multiple times if needed and also adds durability to the bike.
