Welcome to Barbarian Bowl, the third arena in Clash Royale! Don’t worry, it’s a hilariously easy climb to progress through since many early game players make avoidable mistakes that you can easily exploit, such as neglectful elixir counting, poor placements and high elixir decks that are begging to be countered.

Reached at 800 Trophies, you’ll already have access to some colorful and powerful cards to aid you to victory, including the explosive Giant Skeleton. Haven’t unlocked a fancy legendary card yet? Don’t worry, these decks will help you dominate Barbarian Bowl like a pro.

3. Barbarian Battle Ram Rush

Barbarian Carnage!

What you’ll find in early games, not just Barbarian bowl, is that Arrows are your best friend. Why? Because early game players tend to neglect defense and just petal to the metal on offense in early arenas. Luckily for you, you’ll be able to have an arsenal of defensive cards that can also be used for offense, and the little guy with a love for explosives is absolutely perfect for dealing with huts like, well, Goblin Hut!

Cannon is a great building card for luring opposing Battle Rams or Giants and it does great damage, able to counter these two push cards quite easily with Archer or even plain Skeleton support. Since most players rely on their precious swarm spam this early on, Arrows are a great way of completely nullifying most opponents decks.

Barbarians are both absolutely hilarious and absolutely busted in the early arena since nuisances like Wizard and Mega Knight aren’t available yet, leaving you and your opponents with only one semi-good counter being Fireball and of course Bomber. Pair Barbarians with Battle Ram and the majority of new players still in Barbarian Bowl won’t have a clue as to stop it!

2. Giant Goblin Musk

Being one of three available buildings at this point in time, Goblin Cage is like a forgotten valuable at a garage sale and is often being swapped for the more annoying Goblin Hut or all powerful Cannon. Because of this, most players tend to ignore a freed Goblin Brawler, unaware of just how long he’s actually been working out. Seriously, Goblin Brawler is a force to be reckoned with and easily takes out Battle Ram or any Giants coming your way. If you’ve been ignoring Goblin Brawler, well, ignore at your own peril.

Musketeer is also a powerful markswoman and an even better defense card that pairs perfectly with both Goblin Cage and Knight. You’ll also be able to push both lanes with Giant and Battle Ram on one lane and Knight and Musketeer on the other. Or even if you want to go all in with a Goblin Brawler as well, your enemies will never be able to counter your pushes since neither of you have heavy spells unlocked or even Skeleton Army available.

Another luxury you’ll enjoy is the fact you’ll also be able to bridge spam very easily if you time your elixir count correctly. Even something as simple as Goblin spam can get you easy chip damage since most players at this level have a tendency to ignore smaller troops. Goblin Brawler could also even be used as a push card if your opponent continues to ignore him, even able to take on Knight and Mini P.E.K.K.A as well as a great overall defensive card and offensive card.

Don’t forget to utilize your Giant either, he can provide major damage and even if your opponent has multiple buildings, can still serve as a strong and sturdy tank for your Battle Ram and troops.

1. Minions Giant Goblin Hut

Another great deck using Giant, this deck is a swarm menace that can easily out cycle Arrows. Most players in Barbarian Bowl tend to save their Fireball for heavier troops such as Musketeer or for buildings such as Goblin Hut or Cannon. Because of this, your only real threat is going to be Arrows but because of how much spam you have, if you use your elixir accordingly, you can spawn wave after wave to easily overwhelm the enemy.

Goblin Hut is one of the most annoying and frustrating cards to go against because the card essentially just plays itself, spawning and sending wave after wave of Spear Goblins that take chip damage over time. This means it’ll be your bread and butter for maintaining constant pressure on your opponent as you can sit back and collect elixir while the game plays for you and leave your opponent struggling to continue defending against the coming Spear Goblins.

Even if they choose to ignore your Goblins, you’ll still get a considerable amount of chip damage on the enemy tower. You can easily gain cover for your Giant and place a Mini P.E.K.K.A to add the assault for a push that can easily hand over a free three crown on most opponents you’ll find in Barbarian Bowl.
