Naruto is the coming of age story that inspired the world to inherit the will of fire.

Since the anime is over now, we all want to jump into the exciting and captivating world of the #1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja. Here are the seven best Naruto games on PC to let you continue on your ninja way.

7. Naruto Online

Naruto Online Gameplay

Naruto Online is a turn-based browser MMORPG where players plunge into tactical adventures in the Naruto universe. This game is faithful to the original anime series, so you’ll get to recruit and build teams of your favorite ninja. Choose among five completely new Ninjas created by Kishimoto himself, and experience the original story of Naruto as the main character.

There are cinematic cutscenes and special dialogues between “bonded” characters, beautifully animated combo ninjutsu, and characters that grow and evolve as you play. You can customize your ninja squad and engage in fast-paced and strategic turn-based ninjutsu battles.

Perfect your skills in challenging boss raids, or prove your strength on the leaderboards in worldwide PVP. Weather your nindo leads you to take on the world or just your friends, Naruto Online is free to play and there's plenty to do.

6. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution Gameplay

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is the fifth game in the ninja storm series of Naruto’s 3D fighting games. While it improves on the series in significant ways, unfortunately, it’s lacking in others. This addition of the storm series comes in with original artwork and 100 playable characters. With another big addition to the roster, some new gameplay mechanics and a few short films Rrevolution seemed to be deserving of its highly anticipated release.

While the overall feel of the game is improved, the new combat mechanics may feel a bit out of balance. There's a heavy focus on defensive combat, no doubt to add more depth and strategy to the game, but it starts to feel a bit unfair at times. The addition of “drive-types” allows players to pick a type of combat style for their ninjas but seems like an unfinished system.

The story is more of an exhibition than a story and leaves a lot to be desired. I can appreciate the attention to detail and the artwork but if you’re looking for a fluid Naruto PVP experience, I would go with Ninja storm 3 or 4.

5. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Gameplay

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is where the story takes the stage. As the very first sequel in the Storm series there were some pretty big shoes to fill. Fans love of Ultimate Ninja 1 shaped this game directly and the developers made a point to fix specific areas of gameplay to try to create a more well rounded- experience.

The intro begins after Natuto’s 3 year gap from The Hurricane Chronicles. You can follow an older Naruto and Sasuke through their individual journeys in the adventure mode or jump right into the action with local and (for the first time ever) online PVP. The story is definitely an improvement to the first if you don’t mind a more linear progression. The boss battles are more intense and feature more than just a lot of QTEs (those are still there though).

Multiplayer has changed in a number of ways besides the addition of the Shippuden characters to the roster and online ninja battles. Wall-running, epic ninjutsu clashes and the cinematic intros to the versus battles were all taken out. Some may see this as a simpler, more streamlined experience, but most fans just wanted to run on walls. Can you really blame them?

4. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Gameplay

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker  is an action 3-D arena fighting game that is designed from the ground up for PVP. This game takes place when Naruto is the Seventh Hokage and Konoha is hosting the next Chūnin Exams. It's time to step into the arena and prove you have what it takes to brawl with the best. There's no easy mode in this competition and you’ll have to use teamwork like never before if you want to come out on top.

For the first time ever you can create your very own ninja and train under iconic characters from the series to learn their powerful ninjutsu. That's right! The long-awaited character creation is here and you can play to your strengths with a variety of different game modes and really find the fight for you. Gather your Shinobi squad for “combat” and coordinate the total destruction of your opponents in a 4v4 team deathmatch-style arena showdown.

Show your stealthy side in a Chakra fueled “capture the flag” or stand your ground in the classic base battle mode which will play like “control” or domination. There's no story mode in this title so come ready to battle it out like there's no tomorrow.

3. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Gameplay

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is a game that revolutionized fighting. This was the very first time the Naruto game series used an open 3D arena and some say it’s still the best. Not bad for a game with 5 sequels! This game allows you to do everything you could've dreamt of as a kid when it came to fans of the anime. You can explore Konoha, talk to different characters, climb on a huge tree together with main characters, fight huge bosses like Gamabunta, Manda, and Shukaku.

Personally, this game is mostly nostalgia. The story mode gives you the freedom to roam in Konoha, but not much else to do. The fetch quest can grow old for a more experienced gamer and the boss battles are mostly QTE (Quick-Time-Events). If this doesn't turn you away, then the amazing art and cinematic sequences are the closest we will get to relive the original Naruto anime, you'll probably need a Sharingan yourself for that final boss though.

The original Ninja Storm is truly famous for its local PVP. Battling for the first time in huge open areas that fit the size of the action. Running on walls and unleashing over the top ultimate ninjutsu that are long, beautifully animated and worth the wait.

In a time before substitution was limited, you could truly bring the action of Naruto to life with ninjas vanishing in and out of combat setting up epic special moves. With simple mechanics, but complex combat, this is a classic game great for local-PVP.

2. NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Gameplay

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is a 3D fighting game set in the fourth great ninja war and is truly packed with cinematic and original character content. For fans of the series, this game is quite an emotional rollercoaster.

Ninja Storm 3 marks the return of the epic story mode to the series but it can sometimes drag on with long uneventful scenes with even fewer QTEs than before. There are a ton of other multiplayer improvements that make this an awesome addition to the series.

Step into the war-torn world of the fourth great ninja war. You'll love the cinematic campaign full of interactive stories and epic boss battles. Stand strong against massive tailed-beasts and harness their power against your friends in PVP. Now you can strategize like never before with combination ninjutsu between your favorite characters.

With 80 playable characters, PVP is constantly evolving and challenging. Unleash your inner power with instant awakenings and devastate your foes with next-level abilities. Ranked and standard PVP play with large lobbies and Epic combinations will keep you in the action and coming back for more.

1.  NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Gameplay

The latest and final game in the epic Storm series will take you on a breathtaking ride. There’s a  completely revamped battle system ready to bring you the most epic fights you’ve ever seen in the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm series! Jump into the middle of the Fourth Shinobi World War fought by the Allied Shinobi Forces from the ninja villages. See the story from Naruto or Sasuke’s different paths as you make your way through the events leading to the end of the series.

You won't find a more complete experience than Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Storm 4. The combat system is now fine-tuned to make for a fast-paced, beautifully animated battle. PVP is better than ever with active team switching and damage animations.

Swap out your ninja in the middle of combat to string together some pretty amazing combos. You’ll see elemental damage represented through continuous burns after taking a fire attack and it can be extinguished either by moving fast or water damage. The attention to detail is wonderful and every fight is full of fun.

If you want to relive the events of the anime you could fight your way through the epic conclusion of the series in story mode. While the animations are a bit of a step back replacing cutscenes, with still images straight from the show, the story is immersive and captivating and a true fan will be moved by the excellent anime representation. It is still a fun story and worth playing through.

This is the game that fans are hyping to be the perfect storm and honestly, I have to agree.
