So What are the Best Star Cards for Every Class?

Hey, are you fighting for freedom against tyranny or enforcing the will of the Emperor? Honestly, it doesn’t matter. You are probably trying not to die too fast.

If Not, get out of my face, you who plays better than I do.

If Yes, here are the top 3 Star Cards for each class. Let’s hop right in.

(Just to mention, These are My favorites. If you prefer other cards, it doesn’t mean they aren’t worth a try.)

Assault Class

"We are just clones, sir. We are meant to be expendable." - Sinker

As hard it is to say so, I have to agree. Assault class is meant to be ‘expendable’. With 150 health, they aren’t meant to last long. Especially if you are going to be in the midst of action.

But these cards might just keep you breathing (or not if you are a droid) long enough to crack up points for a hero.

Toughen Up

  • Instantly regenerates your health for 10 seconds
  • Each upgrade lowers the recharge time (30, 28, 26, 22)
  • Why great: “He Just WOOON'T DIEEEEE.”

Bounty Hunter

  • Increases your battle point gain for each kill
  • Each upgrade gets a battle points % increase (5, 10, 15, 20)
  • Why great: When you face Anakin, who would you rather be? Death trooper or Maul? Yeah, I thought so.

Killstreak Vanguard

  • Increases time when you can use the shotgun after each kill
  • Each upgrade gets you more time % regained (25, 35, 45, 55)
  • Why great: I would rather have 2 shots than 3. Or even 4.

Officer Class

“Good soldiers follow orders” - Tup

Eh, I wish it was true in BF2. All these annoying people wandering around. Looking for personal glory.

When they should be eliminating threats to the Walkers (if you are on Hoth).

If You wanna maintain discipline, put on that sexy cap and lead your troops to victory. You might be tempted to set up a turret and defend. Please Don’t.

The best lead from Up Front.

Officer’s presence

  • Reduces delay before nearby allies health regeneration begins
  • Rewards officer with battle points for just ‘standing’ near teammates
  • Each upgrade lowers regeneration delay % (20, 25, 30, 40)
  • Why great: Free battle points for doing nothing? I am in.

Improved Battle Command

  • Another 100 health for you and teammates
  • Who wouldn’t want to be around you?
  • Each upgrade increases the radius (12, 13, 15, 16)
  • Why great: You are popular, kid.

Disruption

  • Creates a burst of ionized energy
  • Overheats enemy weapons, diffuses grenades and disables turrets (temporarily)
  • Perfect if you love to be in the midst of action
  • Each upgrade increases range (16, 17, 18, 20)
  • Why great: It’s so peaceful when no one’s taking a shot at you.

Heavy Class

“Say hello to my little friend” - Tony Montana

You might not be a badass like the guy from Scarface. But you can still do hell of a lot of damage with that Little baby.

A machine gun leaves no doubt who’s the god of the battlefield. If one bullet didn’t pierce an armor, a storm of bullets surely will.

A tank coming at you? Child’s play. L1 + R1. Set. Action.

Improved Combat Shield

  • More health to shield
  • Reduces recharge time
  • Each upgrade increases shield health (200, 225, 250, 300)
  • Why great: “The last man who attacked me lived a half-life, so comrade, come at me!” - Putin in ‘Rasputin vs. Stalin ERB’

Detonite Charge

  • Pretty much a mine.
  • Can plan when to trigger.
  • Each upgrade increases blast radius (5, 5.25, 5.50, 6)
  • Why great: You mean it waits for your command to explode? I want the whole stock!

Bodyguard

  • Reduces damage from explosives + toxins
  • Less likely to die from a lucky grenade (Those days in Naboo Throne Room)
  • Each upgrade decreases explosive damage % (30, 33, 36, 40) + toxins active for less seconds (4, 3, 2 , 1)
  • Why great: Don’t throw that grenade at me. Last warning. (blast, I’m still standing) Eh, thick-skulled, are you?

Specialist Class

Don’t try to run, you’ll only die tired

Ah, my absolute favorite. Don’t You dare say I am a lazy ass who doesn’t like to move. I love to move. When a couple of grenades are flying in my direction.

Otherwise. Not really.

Lie around. Enjoy the scenery. Get a free kill when a guy looks up to see what’s going on. Who’s gonna pass up on that?

You should enlist. The enemies might dodge my bullet.

They surely wouldn’t dodge yours.

Marksman

  • Resets weapon heat after headshot + produces less heat until next overheat
  • Perfect match for NT - 242 (it has only 2 shots, duh)
  • Each upgrade gets a heat reduction % (20, 25, 30, 40)
  • Why great: NT - 242 with 4 shots? “I have become more powerful than any jedi has ever dreamed of.”

Personal Shield

  • Creates a shield (protects You from all directions)
  • Great for retreating to a better position
  • So sad, but can’t shoot while shield’s up (then it’s gonna be way overpowered)
  • Each upgrade increases shield health (160, 180, 200, 240)
  • Why great: Remember the grenades flying in my direction? I wish I had a shield then. Oh, well, too late now. Brace for impact!

Survivalist

  • Health regeneration delay is shorter
  • Can get back to sniping much faster
  • Perfect for ‘not so much walkers’ like me
  • Each upgrade reduces regen delay % (20, 25, 30, 40)
  • Why great: That split second sent the other guy to heaven (or hell) and me on another mission.

I guess we’ve reached the end, folks.

To sum up all I’ve said (and didn’t say), a Card is just a Card. It might give you an edge here and there. But never depend solely on them.

Star Cards ... “don’t win battles. Your mind, powerful it is.” Use it.

But most importantly, have fun. If you don’t, I am gonna come to your house and stand by your side Until You Do.

That ain’t creepy. What are you talking about?
