1. Batman: Arkham Knight Announce Trailer – “Father to Son”

Released: 4th March, 2014

Youtube Views: 11.4 million and counting

“Gotham, this is your only warning. Abandon the city, or I will unleash your greatest fears.” These words are heard as the trailer opens into a crowd of people seen running and possibly abandoning the city. Afterwards, we revisit the most memorable location in the series, The Batcave.

Bruce Wayne returns.

We hear the voice of Thomas Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s father, who requests Bruce Wayne to carry on his legacy by protecting the city, and using the wealth that he has passed on to him for good causes. Throughout the conversation we see a new and improved Batmobile, alongside close-up shots of the Bat gear.

Batman, as determined as ever, pursues after the criminals to protect Gotham city, as his father requested. The trailer cuts off, as Batman is seen jumping into the Batmobile to go after Two-Face.

Overall, everything looks impressive, and the game looks very promising.

2. Batman: Arkham Knight - Be the Batman Trailer

Youtube Views: 7.4 million and counting

A few scenes of Arkham crime and life events are shown throughout this trailer. As it progresses, the words ‘Be Selfless’, ‘Be Determined’, ‘Be Courageous’, ‘Be Feared’, and lastly – ‘Be The Batman’ are shown.

In the trailer we get to see some impressive action-packed gameplay.

3. Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer - “Gotham is Mine”

Released: 25th February, 2015

Youtube Views: 3.7 million and counting

This trailer shows some of the villains that Batman will face. It opens with Poison Ivy, one of the villains, saying how there was a plan to take over Gotham, over Batman’s dead body.

Crime is widespread in Gotham City

The rest of the trailer portrays the execution of the plan with criminals taking over Gotham, but Batman fights against them, despite the odds.

4. Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer - “All Who Follow You”

Released: 27th April, 2015

As the Bat signal is lit up in the sky, Gotham city is seen in never ending crime. Batman seems to be defeated.

But Batman is not alone. He rises again with fellow superheroes and returns to fight against the evil that has plagued Gotham City.

The trailer shows that you will not be fighting alone, and you will have friends to help you. This new addition is excellent, as throughout the ealier games Batman was always fighting alone.

5. Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer – “Evening The Odds”

Released: 21st May, 2014

Similar to the announce trailer, we hear the same words spoken out with images of Gotham city. We see the Bat signal light up in the sky with the monologue ‘A city of fear… Rises!’

As before, we see a close-up of Batman’s gear, followed by some gruesome shots of Gotham’s crime. ‘What are you doing?’ Batman was asked. ‘Evening the odds’ is the answer as he moves forwards with the Batmobile.

Making the odds even

Throughout the rest of the trailer, we see glimpses of gameplay, ending with the words ‘There is no savior. No more hope. No more Batman.’ as a shot is fired into his head.

The rest remains unknown. A dark side of the game is revealed, and defeat might be faced, which adds flavor to the series.

6. Batman: Arkham Knight - Ace Chemicals Infiltration Trailer: Part 1

Released: 24th November, 2014

Batman infiltrates the Ace Chemical plant that has been taken over by Scarecrow and an army of criminals. 

Scarecrow plans to use the Ace Chemicals plant to take over Gotham City.

7. Batman: Arkham Knight - Batmobile Battle Mode Reveal

Released: 3rd June, 2014

The roaring sound of the Batmobile is heard as it speeds through, slowing down with an overview of its features and gear.

In its arsenal is the 60mm cannon, a Vulcan armor-piercing gun, missile barrage and a riot-suppressor which fires non-lethal slam rounds.

8. Batman: Arkham Knight - Harley Quinn Trailer

As the trailer opens, we see a familiar face - Harley Quinn - stepping to the scene. For those unfamiliar, Harley Quinn is the accomplice and girlfriend of Joker.

But as we watch the trailer further, we see something we haven’t seen before – you can now play as Harley Quinn – as a preorder bonus of the game in an exclusive mission. The trailer then closes with a close-up shot of Harley Quinn.

For the first time we will be able to play as a villain in the series, and it is amazing.

9. Batman: Arkham Knight - Ace Chemicals Infiltration Trailer: Part 2

Released: 1st December, 2014

Youtube Views: 300,000 and counting

Continuing directly from where Part 1 left off, the events quickly turn into scenes of explosive action, as Ace Chemicals focus on neutralizing their new threat.

The new visuals and Batmobile sure looks impressive!

10. Batman: Arkham Knight - Ace Chemicals Infiltration Trailer: Part 3

Released: 6th December, 2014

Moving into yet another explosive action-packed trailer, Batman continues to battle criminals in his way. In this trailer, Batman fights his way to Scarecrow and tries to him from releasing the fear gas.

The Arkham Knight tries to stop Batman however, and a battle ensues.

Scarecrow has already released the fear gas. The gas causes irrational fear in its victims' minds, driving them insane.

At the end of the trailer, we see the world around Batman crumbling into chaos and madness, as he jumps into the Batmobile to battle a colossal foe.
