12. Remember Me
Remember Me is set in a future created by social media, where there’s no privacy or intimacy left. Personal memories are digitized, bought, sold and traded. The economy on memory gives power to a handful of people, leaving everyone else behind. Play as Nilin, a former memory hunter (someone with the ability to break into minds and steal, or even alter memories) whose mind has been wiped as she sets out to recover her former life, hunted by the founders of the surveillance society.

11. Rise of The Tomb Raider
In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara Croft ventures into Siberia in search of the legendary city of Kitezh. At the same time, she comes into conflict with the paramilitary organization Trinity, which is searching for Kitezh’s promise of immortality. Lara will traverse dangerous environments and combat enemies with firearms and stealth in semi-open hubs. These hubs can also be raided for resources, which can be used to craft new and useful materials.

10. MGS5 Phantom Pain
Picking up nine years after the events of MGS4: Ground Zeroes, Snake wakes up from his coma and takes on a leadership role in the mercenary group Diamond Dogs. Now with a new codename- Venom Snake- he ventures into Afghanistan during the Soviet-Afghan war and the Angola-Zaire border region during the Angolan Civil War to track down the men responsible for the destruction of Militaires Sans Frontières. He also encounters his old rival Ocelot and encounters Quiet, a sniper with supernatural abilities. Originally driven by a desire for revenge, Snake soon unearths a plot by the Patriots organization to develop a new Metal Gear model known as ST-84 "Sahelanthropus.”

9. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist
In Splinter Cell Blacklist, the player fights against a terrorist group called the Engineers as they initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist, which escalates attacks on U.S. Interests.
Don’t mess with Tom Clancy. He’ll beat you up and then threaten to shoot you in the face!

8. Sleeping Dogs
Play as Wei Shen as they attempt to take the Triad down from within. Prove yourself worthy as you fight your way up the organization. Use both hand-to-hand and firearm combat to take the enemy down from within- without blowing your cover.

7. Shenmue 3
In Shenmue III, play as Ryo Hazuki, a teenage martial artist whose father has been murdered. Ryo must unravel the mystery of his father’s killer in order to get revenge. As the player ventures further into enemy territory, they will uncover the truth of the Phoenix Mirror.

6. Watch Dogs 2
Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker living in the San Francisco bay area teams up with Dedsec, a notorious hacking group. Their goal: take down ctOS 2.0, an invasive new OS which is being used to manipulate citizens.

5. Yakuza 0
Explore Tokyo and Osaka with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and returning character Goro Majima. As Kazuma, a simple debt collection goes wrong, landing him in a world of trouble. Meanwhile, Goro works as the proprietor of a cabaret club. Fight using both martial arts and environmental objects. 1980’s Japan also has plenty of distractions.

4. Yakuza Kiwami
In 1995, Kazuma Kiryu took the fall in the murder of a crime boss to protect his sworn brother, Akira Nishikiyama, and his childhood friend, Yumi.
In 2005, Kazuma is released from prison in a strange new world. Akira has changed, and Yumi is missing. Oh, and 10 billion yen is missing from the Tojo Clan's coffers and they’re on the brink of civil war.

1. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Explore the late 1500s Sengoku Japan while playing as the “one-armed wolf,” a disgraced and disfigured warrior that recently escaped the brink of death. Your mission: protect a young lord, descendant of an ancient bloodline from the Ashina clan. SPOILERS: you fail, and the lord is captured, so you’ve got to rescue him.
