[Top 10] Best Rocket League Songs (Ranked)

Best Rocket League Songs Ranked
Updated:
08 Oct 2022

When making a game one of the most important  parts is the soundtrack and it's safe to say Psyonix didn't disappoint.

Rocket League has arguably the greatest soundtrack any game has ever had, but which song is the best? Find out here with this list!

10. Solar Eclipses - Hollywood Principle ft Dr. Awkward

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKRYgZVXDMc

This song was added alongside the release of the game and it's safe to say it didn't fail to reach people's expectations. Its hype drop as well as amazing vocals makes this song one of the best in the game.

9. Don't Stop The Party - Drunk Girl ft Deanna

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKcLXtzhiYo

Another early addition to the game was Drunk Girl ft Deanna with their absolute hit  Don't Stop The Party and this song really doesn't disappoint. Its galactic feel as well as positive lyrics makes it a perfect song for a perfect game.

8. Breathing Underwater - Hollywood Principle (Ether Remix)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLHfIvD0bJE

Coming into this list for a second time and to nobody's surprise is Hollywood Principle, this time with a bit of help on the remix by Ether, is another perfect 10/10 song. Breathing Underwater is a (pardon the pun) breathtaking track. With its amazing melody and smooth vocals it's safe to say this song makes any long time Rocket League fan fill with happiness and energy.

7. Hours - Soupandreas & Inverness

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPOJ4igGPrs

Added to the game as part of the partnership with Monstercat, Rocket League x Monstercat Vol.3 was a soundtrack added to the game in May 2018 and as part of the album came along this song, Hours. This track was  a perfect addition to Rocket League as its smooth melody, beat drop and vocals perfectly compliment the fast paced action of the game.

6. Angel Wings - Mike Ault ft Avianna Acid

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc1OQ8hlog0

Added to the game alongside its release, Angel Wings has become a staple  that sums up perfectly what Rocket League is all about. When you think of Rocket League songs, without a doubt you’ll think of Angel Wings and its safe to say Mike Ault and Avianna Acid did a perfect job creating this song, both lyrically and melodically this song will forever fly alongside this great game.

5. LUV U NEED U - Slushii

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2IaKsHFjr8

Legend has it when Rocket League and Monstercat came together for the very first time to collaborate on a soundtrack   they went to Slushii and said we need a hyped track to get the players in the zone  and what Slushii sent back was nothing less than a work of art. This track is nothing short of perfection, the vocals, the beat, the drop, everything about this song is perfect and even still it's placed at 5th in this list which shows just how great of a soundtrack Rocket League has.

4. Where U Are - Throttle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7mnDOGc8NM

In 2019 Monstercat decided to give music producer Throttle a spot in Rocket League to have his own EP added to the game, which may at first seem like a risky idea however the legends at Monstercat clearly know what they are doing and by adding this EP to the game blessed our eardrums with not just one but several hits, one of them being Where U Are. This track isn't just a title track, it's nothing short of perfection and when you hear this song it screams nothing but positivity and happiness which is perfect for a great game like Rocket League.

3. Cities - Throttle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fchNJT_J1Y

I need to stress to everyone reading this article, deciding the placement on every song on this list was so difficult but deciding this Top 3 is so much harder as every single song is incredible. I eventually chose Cities from the Where U Are EP by Throttle as number 3 as not only is the track amazing in every possible way but the opening line “won’t you come over?” is so iconic and i'm sure every Rocket League player will agree, once you hear that opening line, you're guaranteed a good time.

2. All I Need - Slushii

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHVREB6fdvI

Coming in at Number 2 is the absolutely incredible All I Need by Slushii.   All Rocket League players will agree this song is amazing. Once featured as the very first song  gamers heard when loading up the game, only further boosted its popularity among the fans and rightly so, as everything from the beat drop to the vocals is beautifully worked together.  This creates what can only be described as one of the greatest songs in not just Rocket League, but also gaming in general.

1. Japan - Throttle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPkzLide5wA

What can I possibly say about Japan that's not been said already? Again one of the tracks from his Where U Are EP and now the third that appears on this list should tell you that whatever it is that Throttle puts into his music, we need more of it. All of his songs from this EP are incredible but what makes Japan stand out for me is that iconic beat drop along with his mesmerising vocals. All this together are  what makes this song better than all the rest and it's now a staple amongst all Rocket League players.

I hope you enjoyed this list and maybe even found a new go to Rocket League song. I must stress again that all of these songs as well as many that didn't make it on this list are incredible and I strongly believe that Rocket League has the best soundtrack in the world. GG Rocket League and Monstercat.
