Which are the best five Skells to use in Xenoblade X?

A key distinction between Xenoblade X and the other games in the Xenoblade series is the use of Skells. The Skells are robotic mechanisms that are piloted by a human being within its torso. They resemble a Transformer in appearance.

Their function is to strengthen the player against titanic enemies that stand in their way. All are capable of flight to counter enemies out of normal reach when a Flight Module is installed. Transformation into vehicle mode is optional to increase speed on the ground.

Here is a list of the five best Skells in Xenoblade X.

5. Infernal Skydon

This Skell, as with every other Skell on this list, is available in the post game. The Skell must be built with the blueprint acquired in the store.

A medium build, the maximum gear point value is 6,000. That is the equivalent to tension in normal battles. So you can build up enough GP to last two Overdrive cycles with this Skell.

Skydon’s Overdrive style is HIBANA. Ranged attack power is increased along with regenerating damaged appendages and reflecting thermal damage. The fuel cost in this mode is zero.

4. Urban Lincoln

The Urban Lincoln is a modest build in the realm of Skells. It can perform well with any attribute assigned to it. Think of it as how Mario is in Super Smash Brothers.

OBORO is the Overdrive style. Damage is increased along with ranged damage from enemies being reduced.

Urban Lincolns are noteworthy for their vehicular speed and ability to maneuver tight edges. Try this one out if you want to ditch the air and spend time on the surface.

3. Lailah Queen

This Skell is a fan favorite among Xenoblade X players. The Lailah structure favors damage output over defense. Be sure to have some defensive options if you want your model to last.

NAGI is the Overdrive model that this Skell contains. It is a nice supplement to the downside of decreased durability by regenerating damage dealt to the Skell in timed increments. The range accuracy during NAGI is known to be phenomenal.

If you are trying to reduce damage given by debuffs, definitely go with this Skell. During Overdrive, ALL debuffs are neutralized by this Skell.

Disk bombs are a popular sidearm option for damage output.

2. Ares 70

The underclass of the non-customizable Skells. To those not willing to go the extra mile with the Ares 90, you should go with the Ares 70. Using an Ares 70 has the potential to be a good segway to grinding for the Ares 90.

The Skell itself has excellent options. The weapons and armor cannot be customized. Its attributes are centered around ether usage and output.

LEGION is equipped with this and its successor. The total fuel usage during Overdrive is zero and heals broken appendages. All damage is raised and the cooldown is reduced.

1. Ares 90

The king of Skells when not accounting for modded Skells at lower tiers. If you are willing to grind, you can make inferior Skells more effective than this model. But if you are just trying to complete this game 100%, you will be more than okay with this legend.

It is by far the most expensive Skell to purchase. 100,000 Miranium is required as part of the building process. The other goods can be found through online boss battles.

All of the mechanics and stats are superior to the Ares 90 in every capacity. The most powerful Art is the Aghasura Cannon. With the right augments, it can shred the Telethia to oblivion.
