The PMM is one of the best pistols in Siege because it has all the qualities that a player would want from their secondary weapon. That is, high damage, good rate of fire, and most importantly, low recoil. Though its magazine capacity leaves much to be desired, being an alternative weapon, that kind of drawback wouldn’t really be felt that much. That’s because secondary weapons like the PMM are usually only brought out for hitting enemies when the primary weapon needs to be reloaded in the middle of a gunfight.

That means it’s quite rare for the secondary weapon to be brought out for fragging an opponent, and usually, when the player does switch to it while their primary is reloading, it would only take just one or a couple more shots to finish an enemy. So if you think about it, its eight bullets per magazine probably won’t be used up during encounters anyway. As for its performance as a secondary weapon, the PMM is one of the most popular pistols in the game because its low recoil provides the user with stable firing, and its heavy damage per shot can really make short work of enemies.

The C75 Auto is available to Dokkaebi, Vigil, Kali, and Thorn, and is a popular choice for their secondary weapon. That is because the C75 Auto has the most manageable recoil among all machine pistols, and that is despite its very fast rate of fire. Its only drawback really is its iron sights that aren’t that great for aiming and could take up quite a lot of screen space. However, at close range, that drawback wouldn’t be much of a problem. There are even a lot of players who can shoot it at longer distances with good accuracy.

The great thing about the C75 Auto is that the user is free to consider it as a machine pistol with an integrated suppressor. That’s because the only option for its barrel attachment is the suppressor, and since it doesn’t reduce the damage of weapons anymore, there is practically no downside to equipping it. With the suppressor, the user will be able to use the C75 Auto for shooting enemy gadgets without alerting enemies, and best of all, its shots won’t have a directional threat indicator as well as a muzzle flash. That, along with its silent gunshots, will make it hard for enemies to determine where the user is shooting from.

That is because its iron sights are great for accuracy, making it a deadly weapon at any range. More adventurous players who are confident with their skills often use it for one tapping enemies. Another reason why users are able to have great accuracy with the P229 is because its recoil is very manageable, so even with continuous firing, the user won’t really lose stability.

Its damage isn’t as massive as the PMM in one of the entries above, but it makes up for it with its higher magazine capacity, which could really help the user when dealing with multiple enemies. Another seldom discussed great quality of the P229 is that when equipped with a suppressor, its gunshots are really silent. It’s different from other guns in the game that still produces a loud sound per shot even when suppressed. Finally, its recoil is so manageable that even if the user doesn’t equip it with a muzzle brake, its weapon kick will be very easy to hold down.

The bailiff 410 may be the least capable for fragging among all the pistols in this list, however this revolver shotgun is one of the best secondary weapons a player could have because it will allow them to rework the map to their advantage. That’s because as a shotgun in revolver form, it has a high destruction rate per shot, and that means it’s capable of destroying the wooden beams on unreinforced hatches and walls. Because of that, the bailiff 410 can be used by the player to create rotation holes, entry spots, destroy unreinforced hatches, or open up lines of sight.

So for the operators that have access to this weapon, namely Doc, Fenrir, Grim, Maestro, Alibi, and Oryx, it is actually the first choice and not the alternatives that are better for fragging enemies. With that said, it doesn’t mean that the bailiff 410 is only great as a utility. As shown in the video above, at close range, it’s capable of fragging enemies effectively, and its rate of fire is actually pretty fast. Its recoil is also very manageable, so the user can hit enemies with good accuracy, especially with the presence of a laser as one of its attachments which will greatly tighten its hip fire pellet spread.

What Makes the Bailiff 410 Great:

  • It’s not just a weapon, it’s also a great utility for reworking the map to the user and their team’s advantage because it has a high destruction rate per shot
  • It’s quite effective at fragging opponents at close range due to its high damage per pellet, very manageable recoil, and good rate of fire
  • When equipped with a laser attachment, its hip fire pellet spread will be greatly tightened, and that will allow the user to hit enemies at close range even without going into aim-down-sights stance

6. Bearing 9

The bearing 9 can really make Siege life easier for the operators who can access it, and those operators are Hibana, Echo, Thunderbird, Glaz, and Tachanka. Through the bearing 9, they can continue firing a fully automatic weapon with great rate of fire and high damage when their primary weapon needs to be reloaded in the middle of an enemy engagement. That’s especially the case for Glaz and Tachanka. That’s because Glaz is primarily a sniper and his primary weapon, the OTs-03 can be at a disadvantage at close range.

So for close range encounters, Glaz players can just switch to the bearing 9. As for Tachanka, the bearing 9 is a real blessing from the devs, because his DP27 light machine gun has a long reload time. So when dealing with multiple enemies, without the bearing 9 machine pistol as his secondary weapon, Tachanka would heavily be at a disadvantage. The bearing 9 is basically a mini-submachine gun, and is almost as powerful as a primary weapon. It also inflicts high damage per shot, and combined with its very high rate of fire, it can be very deadly at close to medium range.

What Makes the Bearing 9 Great:

  • It inflicts a good amount of damage per shot, so at close to medium range, it’s really one of the most lethal secondary weapons around
  • Its recoil can be a bit rough due to its very high rate of fire, but when the user gets used to the feel of its recoil, this gun is actually a headshot machine
  • It has a very fast rate of fire so combine that with its good amount of damage per shot, the user can really make quick work of enemies with this weapon
  • Its magazine capacity is very decent for a machine pistol and that’s a good perk to have for encounters with multiple enemies

The SPSMG9, available only to Kali and Clash, is undoubtedly one of the best machine pistols in the game, and that’s primarily because of its very manageable recoil. Unlike the C75 Auto in one of the entries above, the SPSMG9 can be equipped with another 1.0x sight of the user’s choosing, so they won’t have to be stuck to its default iron sights. That means the user would be able to shoot the SPSMG9 with great accuracy due to it being compatible with a custom 1.0x sight and its very manageable recoil.

The thing is, as machine pistols go, the SPSMG9 is an almost perfect weapon. Because it doesn’t only have a very manageable recoil, it also inflicts a good amount of damage per shot and has a very fast rate of fire. Its magazine size is also very decent for a machine pistol, so the user can really treat the SPSMG9 more like a primary weapon than a secondary one. And that’s perfect for Clash and Kali, because obviously, Clash has her CCE Shield for her primary weapon, and for Kali, her CSRX 300 marksman rifle can really put her at a disadvantage at close range, so it’s great for her to have the SPSMG9 as her secondary weapon.

What Makes the SPSMG9 Great:

  • It’s one of the most stable machine pistols in the game due to it having a very manageable stock recoil despite its very high rate of fire
  • Its fire rate is very fast so it can take down enemies at close to medium range even with just a short burst
  • It can be equipped with any one of the 1.0x sights in the game so the user won’t have to be stuck with its default iron sights for aiming
  • Its magazine size is very decent for a machine pistol and that’s great to have when dealing with multiple enemies because the bigger the magazine is, the lesser the chance of reloading while in combat

4. SMG-11

The SMG-11 machine pistol is basically what allows Smoke, Mute, Amaru, and Solis to freely run with their shotguns as their primary weapon instead of the fully-automatic alternatives. That’s because the SMG-11 is basically a powerful mini-submachine gun, so those operators can treat it as their primary weapon instead for fragging opponents that are beyond the reach of their shotguns. The SMG-11 inflicts a high damage per shot for a machine pistol, and its rate of fire is very high. That allows the user to take down opponents with it even with just a short burst.

The SMG-11's weapon kick can be quite hard to control, but to players who are accustomed to how the weapon feels when being fired, it’s a headshot machine. I’ve encountered players in ranked matches who can even use the SMG-11 as an effective weapon for spawn peeking. And since the four operators that can access this weapon can run with their shotguns as their primary when they have the SMG-11 as their secondary, they will have the superiority over their enemies during close-range encounters, and they can use their shotguns for reworking the map to their advantage.

What Makes the SMG-11 Great:

  • It inflicts a high amount of damage per shot, especially for a machine pistol with such a fast rate of fire, so it’s capable of killing an enemy with just a short burst
  • Its rough recoil can actually make the weapon more deadly because with proper crosshair placement, its short burst will go straight to the enemy’s head
  • It can be equipped with any 1.0x sight that the the player is comfortable with so they won’t need to be stuck to using its default iron sights
  • All the barrel attachments in the game are compatible to the SMG-11 so the user can really customize it according to the benefits that they want to take advantage of

3. Keratos .357

The Keratos .357 ranks so high in this list because it’s an overall excellent handgun. Among all the pistols in this list, it has the highest amount of damage per shot, so it’s capable of taking down any enemy with just a couple of shots at its optimal range. The user can’t equip it with a different sight, but its default iron sights are great for accuracy, and experienced players can even hit opponents with this weapon at long-range. With a muzzle brake and laser, its stability would even be greatly increased and the user won’t have to go into aim-down-sights at close distances in order to hit enemies.

If the user prefers the suppressor though, they’ll find that its weapon kick will remain manageable even without a muzzle brake, and that’s great for users who want the benefit of shooting silently and without creating a directional threat indicator. Another great quality of the Keratos .357 is that its destruction rate per shot is very high. Probably only second to the bailiff 410 among this list. And while it’s not capable of destroying wooden beams on unreinforced hatches or walls, the user can use the keratos .357 to open lines of sight on soft walls.

What Makes the Keratos .357 Great:

  • It has the highest damage among all the pistols in the game which makes it capable of taking out an enemy with just a couple of shots
  • Its recoil is very manageable despite its heavy damage per shot, and it’s even much more controllable with the presence of a muzzle brake
  • Players who prefer the suppressor would still be able to handle the gun’s recoil as long as they pace their shots well
  • It has a high destruction rate per shot which makes it also a great utility for creating lines of sight on unreinforced walls

2. Luison

The Luison, although only available to Caveira, is definitely one of the most powerful pistols in the game, because like the keratos .357 above, it’s also capable of taking down an enemy with just a couple of shots as its most effective range, and that’s regardless of their armor rating. What makes the Luison really special though is that it will always put an enemy in a down-but-not-out state first before killing them. That means that if the user wants to kill an enemy with this pistol, they’ll have to shoot them when they’re in dbno state.

That’s really helpful for Caveira because for Caveira to be able to perform her Interrogation ability, the enemy has to be in a down-but-not-out state. Of course, you can’t interrogate someone dead, can you? So this pistol is actually almost a special gadget for Caveira. Its recoil is very manageable and I can’t stress that enough, because with its very high damage per shot and good default iron sights, the Luison is nearly a perfect handgun. But another thing that’s really worth noting is that among all the suppressed pistols in the game, the Luison probably produces the quietest gunshots.

What Makes the Luison Great:

  • It inflicts a heavy amount of damage per shot, making it capable of downing an enemy regardless of their armor rating at its optimal range
  • It will always put an enemy in a down-but-not-out state first before inflicting a lethal shot, and that’s a really great help for Caveira in performing her Interrogation special ability
  • Its weapon kick is very manageable that even without a muzzle brake, the user would be able to fire it with continuous shots without losing control
  • Its gunshots are extremely silent due to its custom suppressor and that prevents the user from easily giving away their location while shooting

1. RG15

The RG15 has the highest rank in this list because it has the best qualities overall. It may not have the massive damage per shot that the luison and keratos .357 above have, but it can be equipped by more operators, and besides, its damage is very good too. Its recoil is also very manageable, and is one of the best in this list, so if the user prefers to equip it with a suppressor, they won’t need to worry about not being able to handle its weapon kick as long as they don’t fire the weapon too quickly. On top of that, its magazine size is also very good.

But what makes the RG15 stand out among all the pistols in the game is its romeo1 reflex sight. The romeo1 reflex sight has a center dot reticle which provides its user with great accuracy. Because of the romeo1 reflex sight, the RG15 can even be used for fragging opponents at long distances. For players with a lot of experience and great aim, the RG15 is a one tap machine, and it really is satisfying and highlight-worthy when you one tap an opponent with it. The RG15 is the secondary weapon available to Melusi, Zofia, and Ela.

What Makes the RG15 Great:

  • It has the romeo1 reflex as its default 1.0x sight and it provides the user with great accuracy, even for shooting enemies at long distances
  • Its recoil is very manageable so if the user wants to, they can attach the suppressor to it instead of the muzzle brake and its weapon kick would still be easy to control
  • It has a very decent magazine size so the user won’t be at a big disadvantage when facing multiple enemies at the same time
  • It inflicts a very good amount of damage per shot and combining that with its excellent romeo1 reflex sight, low recoil, and magazine size, the RG15 is an almost perfect pistol
