Plants vs. Zombies can be quite the challenge, even to those who know all the ins and outs of this spectacular game. Sometimes you might require some extra help and that is where I come to the rescue! Let me hook you up with 10 of the best Plants vs. Zombies cheats that you will most definitely benefit from.
10. Too slow
This cheat is compatible with the PS Vita version of Plants vs. Zombies. It is extremely simple, yet potent and very effective. Using this cheat allows you to slow down all of the zombies during gameplay. This allows your plants to cause much more damage to zombies before they reach your plants, possibly killing them before they can cause any harm. The cheat works as follows:
- Type the word “slowboke” during gameplay.
There is not much else required of you to set this cheat in motion. Just make sure that the cheat is typed in small letters and that the spelling is correct. Although this cheat is extremely simple, it is very effective and will benefit you greatly in the long run!
9. Let there be light!
This cheat is one that I can guarantee every single player will benefit from and enjoy. It is compatible with the PS Vita version of Plants vs. Zombies. You need Sun to purchase all plants in order to be triumphant in the ultimate battle against the zombies. Sun, however, can be quite challenging to obtain without an adequate amount of Sunflower. Well, allow me to let you in on a secret:
- Type the word “tohot” during gameplay.
- Make sure that the word is typed in small letters and that the spelling is correct.
- Now, watch the magic happen: you will have infinite Sun!
This cheat is one that I will always suggest using in your gameplay. It gives you a great advantage and allows you to focus more on purchasing attacking plants rather than Sunflowers.
8. Money, money, money!
This cheat is for all the broke players out there! It is compatible with the PC version of Plants vs. Zombies and requires you to have the Cheat Engine. This cheat is somewhat complicated compared to the cheats mentioned above, but trust me, it is 100% worth it! Let me tell you more:
- Divide your amount of coins by ten and type it in the value box.
- Click “First Scan”.
- Buy something random in the shop.
- Divide your number of coins left by ten and type the amount in the value box.
- Click “Next Scan” and then click the address on the left.
- Double click on the number value row and then type how many coins you want.
Although this cheat is a tad bit more complicated, it is definitely worth it. With unlimited coins, you have one of the biggest advantages in Plants vs. Zombies.
7. I don’t have time!
This cheat is for the player who gets impatient with the recharge time on plants during gameplay. Using this cheat will remove the recharging time for all plants, allowing you to save time and win the ultimate battle! Let me tell you how to unlock this cheat:
- Click on "Memory View".
- Right-click on the address that appears and choose the following: "Go to Address".
- Type the following code: "0048728C". Make sure that there are no mistakes in the order of the code.
- Double-click on the colored text that appears.
- Change "01" to "200" behind the comma and then click “OK”.
- There is a message that says the generated code is 7 bytes long and the opcode is 4 bytes long, click yes to remove "nop" from "00487290", and "00487292".
You are now equipped with plants that have zero recharging time. You can thank me later!
6. Free plants
If you think that unlimited Sun was a great cheat, I have something even more exciting in store for you: Free Plants! This cheat is compatible with the PC Version of Plants vs. Zombies. It allows you to choose any plant during gameplay for free! Yes, you read that right. Want to know some more? Keep reading.
- Click "Memory View".
- Right-click on the address that appears and then choose "Go to address".
- Type the following code: "0041E846". Make sure that you get the order of the code correctly.
- Double click on the colored text that appears.
- Change the address code to "nop".
- There is a message that says the generated code is one byte long and the opcode is two bytes long, click yes to replace " 0041E846 " with "nop".
You can access all plants in your possession for free! This cheat is definitely one that I use quite often and one that I will recommend to any Plants vs. Zombies fan. This makes your gameplay so much more relaxing and pretty easy to beat those brain-hungry zombies.
5. One Shot!
Although most plants in Plants vs. Zombies are quite powerful, you might need some extra help. How does a cheat that allows plants to kill a zombie with a single shot sound? If that sounds like your type of cheat then you are at the right place! This cheat is compatible with the PC Version of Plants vs. Zombies and it works as follows:
- Click "Memory View".
- Right-click on the address and choose "Go to Address".
- Type "0053130F" and then click OK.
- Double-click the selected address.
- Change the selected Address' Assembler Code to "sub edi,[esp]" and click OK.
- Right-click on the address and choose "Go to Address".
- Type the following code: "00531053" and then click OK.
- Double-click the selected Address.
- Change the selected Address' Assembler Code to the following code: "jmp 0053105e" and then click OK.
- Right-click on the address and choose "Go to Address".
- Type the following code "0053105E" and then click OK.
- Double-click the selected Address.
- Change the selected Address' Assembler Code to "sub ecx,[ebp+000000d0] and click OK.
- Right-click on the address and choose "Go to Address".
- Type "00530CA1". Then click OK.
- Double-click the selected Address.
- Change the selected Address' Assembler Code to "mov [esi+000000dc],eax" and click OK.
Your plants are now equipped to kill a zombie instantly with a single shot. Amazing, right?
4. You can’t kill me
The next cheat is one that is compatible with the PC Version of Plants vs. Zombies and is one that I would highly recommend for more difficult levels. This cheat makes your plants invincible, stopping any possible damage that can be caused by zombies and it works as follows:
- Click "Memory View".
- Right-click on the address and choose "Go to Address".
- Type the following code: "0052FCF0".
- Right-click at the address.
- Change the selected Address' Assembler Code to "nop" and click OK.
This cheat can become quite boring if you don’t make use of fun plants to kill the zombies, but when used correctly, it can be extremely exhilarating!
3. Let’s get Zen
This cheat is for those players who do not have the patience to wait for their Zen Gardens to grow. It is compatible with the PC Version of Plants vs. Zombies and it provides instant Zen Garden plant growth. It works as follows:
- Double-click at the time on your computer which is located at the taskbar, below-right.
- Choose the next day from the current day.
The plants in your Zen Garden will now be fully grown and you won't need any patience for waiting them out! This cheat is incredibly simple and very useful.
2. Slot Machine
The next cheat is one that is compatible with the PC Version of Plants vs. Zombies. This is not a cheat to be used during gameplay, but rather a cheat that allows you to win the slot machine instantly! Fun, right? Let me tell you more:
- Open the slot machine and scan the current amount of sun.
- Spend or gain some sun.
- Double-click the address and replace the value with the goal (2000 sun).
You have now won at the slot machine instantly! This cheat is loads of fun and can be used repeatedly, making you a rich gamer!
1. Endless Minigames
Although the actual gameplay of Plants vs. Zombies are loads of fun, the Minigames are certainly one of my favorite aspects of the game. This cheat is compatible with the PC Version of Plants vs. Zombies and allows you to play endless amounts of Minigames! Let me tell you some more:
- Find the minigame ID by using the cheat engine and going between any two minigames and searching for their IDs.
- Find the ideal area type and starting conditions.
- Before the screen pans to the right, replace the minigame ID number with 13.
- Choose your seeds and begin.
- Preferably before the screen pans to the left, replace the minigame ID with whatever minigame ID you want to make endless. A full list of IDs can be found at Hybrid mini-games.
- Preferably before the minigame's end, replace the minigame ID number with 13.
- Repeat steps 4-6 as needed or allowed.
This cheat is pure fun and I would recommend it to anyone who loves absolutely everything about Plants vs. Zombies, especially the Minigames!
