Often the easiest targets to take down in teamfights are the ADCs - or other damage oriented champion - as they compose the bulk of their team’s damage and are oftenly the squishiest. As an ADC and mid laner  myself, one thing I notice that separates the average player from a great one is their ability to kite around skirmishes and teamfights. The ability to dodge skillshots, weave back and forth between the enemy’s danger zones, all while weaving auto attacks, can propel your rank into platinum and diamond.

One method of improving anyone’s ability to kite is by implementing attack move. Attack move is a key bind that, when pressed, makes your champion attack the closest thing to where your cursor is or the thing closest to your champion (both options are configurable). In this guide, we will be binding attack move to left click as the left click button is rarely if not ever used in a league game.

Implementing attack move into your game compared to right clicking for moving and attacking will reduce misclicks and improve your gameplay. This guide will cover binding attack move to left click, but attack move can be bound to keys as well.

For people looking for more use from their left mouse button, 3rd party software can be used to remap a key to a mouse button, such as SharpKeys and Mouse Manager, but will not be covered in this guide.

Step 1: Open the settings in-game by pressing “Esc”

Step 2: Select the menu named “Hotkey”

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom until you see the section labeled “Advance Keybinding Options”

Step 4: Click on the button to bind auto attack to left click
