With Elden Ring having a lot of great weapons with there sadly only being 4 claws, this list will help you find the claw build that suits you best. This top 5 list has some amazing builds with the Raptor Talons and others having a great variety of uses, you will also be able to switch up the weapons affinity as you want because it doesn't require much to change except our old friend Andre. I mean Hewg.

5. Keen Raptor Talons Build

Higher scaling helps.

The Raptor Talons are amazing, with the benefit of blood loss and fast attacks. This weapon can be used in a lot of different builds and it has a unique R2 moveset. This weapon excels in airborne attacks, so the Claw Talisman will be your best friend. This build will also have A scaling in dex.

 

What the Keen Raptor Talons build excels in:

  • Dealing blood loss damage to enemies and bosses.
  • Unique R2 attacks.
  • Has A scaling in dex.

Build details:

  • Use the Raptor Talons as your main weapon, as well as the Clawmark Seal.
  • For armor use the Raptor’s Black Feathers as it will enhance jump attack by 10%.
  • As it goes for talismans, the Claw Talisman will be your best friend, with it enhancing jump attacks by 15% and it stacks with the Raptor’s Black Feathers.
  • The second talisman should be Lord of Blood’s Exultation, as it increases attack power by 20% for 20 seconds when in the vicinity of blood loss.

  • Also, use Bestial Sling and Bestial Vitality to deal some quick damage, and regenerate a bit of health when you’re in a pinch.
 

4. Blood Venomous Fang Build

The Blood Venomous Fang build is great for all those players who want to deal a chunk of damage to a boss with the consistent damage of poison for those bosses who can be poisoned. This build can also be changed to a pure poison build if you wish to have better scaling as it will only have a max scaling of C in both strength and dex with this build.

 

What the Blood Venomous Fang build excels in:

  • Has both blood and poison damage.
  • Fast damage as it is a claw build.
  • Has “Deadly Poison” that deals 2 ticks of damage and not one per tick, but lasts a shorter duration.

Build details:

  • Use the Blood version of the Venomous Fang, as well as the Clawmark Seal.
  • For armor use the Raptor’s Black Feathers as it will enhance jump attack by 10%.
  • For talismans, the Claw Talisman will be a great help, with it enhancing jump attacks by 15% and it stacks with the Raptor’s Black Feathers.

  • For incantations, use Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength to buff your character, as Golden Vow increases defense by 15% and offense by 10% and Flame Grant Me Strength increases physical attack power by 20% and fire attacks by 20%.
  • You can also add a few Bestial Incantations if you want to deal some damage, like Bestial Sling.
 

3. Cold Hookclaws Build

Wolverine is here, just in Winter.

The Cold Hookclaws, a build that’ll make you feel like Wolverine, and deal both frost and blood damage. This build has B scaling in dex making it a solid option for all speedy dex users. With a few strong talismans and a Logan-looking character, you will be ready to go.

 

What the Cold Hookclaws Build excels in:

  • Fast damage.
  • Both cold and bleed damage.
  • B dex scaling.

Build details:

  • Use the Cold affinity on your Hookclaws, as well as the Clawmark Seal.
  • After creating your Wolverine look-alike for 6 hours you should use the Raptor’s Black Feathers for armor as it will enhance jump attack by 10%, or use nothing except pants to really get the Wolverine look.

  • For incantations and spells, I would recommend still using Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength to buff your character, as Golden Vow increases defense by 15% and offense by 10% and Flame Grant Me Strength increases physical attack power by 20%, and fire attacks by 20%.
  • As well as Bestial Vitality to regenerate a portion of your health.
 

2. Keen Bloodhound Claws

Bloodhound’s step really helps with those poisonous areas.

Keen Bloodhound Claws, are a great weapon for a great build, with a solid Ash of War, you will be able to dash around enemies and bosses easily. With it having B scaling in dex, it is also a solid build for some good damage, the Bloodhound Claws also deal blood loss, which is great to deal a chunk of damage.

  • Dashing around enemies with the Ash of War.
  • Dealing blood loss damage.
  • It has an anti-block that ignores 40% damage negation of blocking enemies.

  • Use the Keen affinity on the Bloodhound Claws.
  • For armor use the Raptor’s Black Feathers.
  • As it goes for talismans use, the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia greatly increases attack power with successive attacks.
  • As well as Millicent’s Prosthesis to add 5 dex to your character as well as increase attack power with successive attacks. As both talismans stack with each other.
