The Elden Beast is for sure a beast of a battle.

The Elden Beast is one of the toughest fights in Elden Ring, as you have to face Radagon after each unsuccessful attempt against the Elden Beast, this fight can seem quite intimidating. With these builds, you’ll be having a better time with this mighty boss. Elden Beast and Radagon have some high resistances against holy damage, this doesn't mean you can't beat them with a holy weapon, only that it will be fairly harder. With these two bosses also being immune to any poison or rot the fight is quite a challenge, unlike the final boss fight of Bloodborne, you will have to face both if you wish to finish the game. This top 5 list will be a great guide for any players struggling with the final bosses, remember to summon spirit ashes to help you beat these tough enemies.

5. Fallingstar Beast Jaw Build

With Colossal weapons dealing massive damage to Elden Beast.

The Fallingstar Beast Jaw is a beast of a weapon and has one amazing moveset. It is one of my favorite weapons to use against the Elden Beast as it deals massive damage and has one great weapon art. Pair this build with Mimic or Tiche՛ and he won’t be able to stand in your way.

What Fallingstar Beast Jaw build excels in:

  • Great for poise damage.
  • Can be paired with a lot of different spells or incantations.
  • Can scale up to C scaling in strength and dex.
  • Has one amazing weapon art.

Build details:

  • Use the Fallingstar Beast Jaw as your main weapon, with the Dragon Communion Seal or the Erdtree Seal.
  • For armor use something with high poise and resistance to keep your Mimic alive through Radagon and Elden Beast, preferably the Radhan set.
  • As it goes for talismans use The Shard of Alexander talisman is great for this build as it increases the attack power of skill by 15%
  • Use Golden Vow before fights to increase damage dealt by 15% and damage negation by 10%, you can pair this with Flame Grant Me Strength.
  • Terra Magica can be used to increase magic damage as well.
  • Use the Cerulean Hidden Tear in the Wondrous Physick to eliminate all FP consumption and the Crimsonburst Sacred Tear to passively regenerate health for a while.
  • The Dagger talisman will increase critical strikes by 16%, but this can be swapped out with the Green Turtle Charm for faster stamina recovery.
  • The Carian Filigreed Crest will reduce the consumption of FP used by skills.
  • The Erdtree Favour +2 will increase HP by 4%, increase stamina by 9.6%, and equip load by 8%
  • For incantations use Erdtree Heal or Lord’s Heal if you can to heal yourself and others, as well as Lord’s Divine Fortification, to greatly increase holy damage negation.

4. Blasphemous Blade Build

Even Rykard would have a tough time with the Elden Beast.

The Blasphemous Blade is one of the coolest-looking swords in Elden Ring, and it has one of the best weapon arts that can obliterate Radagon. The sword has B scaling in faith when upgraded to plus 10, this is great for that extra scaling not just for the weapon art, but also for any incantations you use. I would suggest that you summon the Mimic Tear, you both can use the Blasphemous Blade's weapon art to deal some massive damage to Radagon and Elden Beast.

What the Blasphemous Blade build excels in:

  • High damage with the weapon art, as well as great jump attack damage to get a riposte.
  • High faith scaling.
  • The sword heals 4% of max HP plus 40 flat HP for any enemy defeated, whether or not the sword killed them, it just needs to be held in hand.
  • The weapon art, Taker’s Flames, heals 10% max HP and 150 flat HP per hit.

Build details:

  • Use the Blasphemous Blade as your main weapon, and the Golden Order Seal or the Erdtree Seal.
  • For armor use the Raptor’s Black Feathers for extra jump attack damage, for the other slots use sturdy armor to tank damage.
  • For talismans use the Great Jar’s Arsenal to increase maximum equip load, but as soon as you have enough points in stamina replace this with Erdtree Favor +2 for the increased HP by 4%, increased stamina by 9.6%, and equip load by 8%,
  • Use the Claw Talisman to deal more damage with jump attacks.
  • You should also use the Shard of Alexander for the extra weapon art damage.
  • The Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman is a must to increase physical damage negation.
  • In the Flask of Wondrous Physick, you should have the Faith-Knot Crystal Tear to increase faith for a time, and the Opaline Bubbletear to basically take a hit without receiving damage, you can alternatively switch the Faith-Knot Crystal Tear for cerulean Hidden Tear to remove all FP consumption for a time.
  • For incantations, use Erdtree Heal or Lord’s Heal if you can to heal yourself and others, as well as Lord’s Divine Fortification, to greatly increase holy damage negation.
  • Use Golden Vow before fights to increase damage dealt by 15% and damage negation by 10%, you can pair this with Flame Grant Me Strength.

3. Night And Flame Build

Still one of the best swords in the game.

The Sword of Night and Flame has carried me through multiple playthroughs, especially against the Elden Beast. The sword has some great damage and has one of my favorite skills in the game. The weapon also has solid damage without using the skill, and if you pair this with build with a Mimic or Tiche՛, Elden Beast will be a lot easier.

What the Night and Flame build excels in:

  • Dealing amazing damage from range with the weapon arts.
  • The weapon has high scaling in both faith and intelligence with a B in both.
  • Has great poise damage and a great chance to be able to riposte both Radagon and Elden Beast.

Build details:

  • Use the Sword of Night and Flame, as well as the Erdtree Seal.
  • For armor use something sturdy like the Radhan set or the Maliketh set.
  • For incantations use Rotten Breath to deal rot damage to bosses, but sadly neither Elden Beast nor Radagon can be rotted, this does not mean the incantation won’t deal good damage to both of them if it lands.
  • Use Golden Vow before a fight to buff your character, you can also use the Flame Grant Me Strength spell to also buff your character.
  • Equip the Shard of Alexander as the first talisman to increase the damage of weapon arts.
  • Use Erdtree Favour +2 as it will increase HP by 4%, increase stamina by 9.6%, and equip load by 8%.
  • You should use the Magic Scorpion Charm to boost magic damage.
  • Equip the Carian Filigree Talisman to reduce the FP cost of all skills.
  • You can alternatively use the Godfrey Icon that enhances charged spells and skills.
  • In the Flask of Wondrous Physick use the Magic-Shrouded Cracked Tear to increase the damage of magic for a time and the Cerulean Hidden Tear to remove all FP consumption for a time. Alternatively use the Opaline Bubbletear to take a hit without receiving a lot of damage.

2. Black Knife Build

With Tiche՛ Elden Beast won’t know what hit it.

The Black Knife is one of the best daggers in Elden Ring, with its astounding weapon art that deals great damage from a range, with the ability to drain enemies' health bars, this dagger is really strong. This build will really make Elden Beast easier, and it can also be used as a hybrid sort of build when paired with the Blasphemous Blade build. Pairing this build with Tiche՛ will be the best play, as she will do the same weapon art and she is quite fast at dodging the enemies' attacks.

What the Black Knife Build excels in:

  • High damage from the weapon art, that deals damage to the boss, and also reduces their maximum HP for a time.
  • Has a unique R2 moveset.
  • Has B dex scaling.

Build details:

  • Use the Black Knife as your main weapon, with the Erdtree Seal or the Golden Order Seal.
  • For armor, I would suggest something that can tank a lot of damage like the Radhan set.
  • As it goes for Talismans, using the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman is a must to increase physical damage negation.
  • The Erdtree Favour +2 will increase HP by 4%, increase stamina by 9.6% and equip load by 8%.
  • Equip the Shard of Alexander to deal more damage from weapon arts.
  • For the last talisman use the Carian Filigree Talisman to reduce the FP cost of all skills.
  • In the Wondrous Physick, use the Crimsonburst Sacred Tear to passively regenerate health for a while. As well as the Opaline Bubbletear to take a hit without receiving a lot of damage.
  • For incantations use Erdtree Heal or Lord’s Heal if you can to heal yourself and others and Tiche՛ will need a heal to be able to tank a few of Elden Beast’s attacks.
  • As well as Lord’s Divine Fortification, to greatly increase holy damage negation.
  • Use Golden Vow before fights to increase damage dealt by 15% and damage negation by 10%, you can pair this with Flame Grant Me Strength.

1. Maliketh Build

Are you prepared to send Elden Beast to meet destined death?

Maliketh is one of the best bosses and has one of the best weapons. With his weapon primarily scaling with strength and faith, it can have up to B scaling at +10. This build is great for the final boss of Elden Ring as it does massive physical damage and its weapon art does the same as the Black Knife, reducing enemies' health bars and dealing a great chunk of damage.

What the Maliketh Build excels in:

  • The weapon deals amazing weapon art damage.
  • The weapon deals great physical damage.
  • Paired with Black Knife Tiche՛ or Mimic neither Radagon nor Elden Beast will be able to survive.

Build details:

  • Maliketh’s Black Blade will be your main weapon with the Golden Order Seal.
  • Before the fight, use Golden Vow as it gives 15% more damage, and reduces damage taken by 10 %, you can also stack this buff with Flame Grant Me Strength as it will also increase physical damage dealt by 20%.
  • You should also use Lord’s Heal if you can to heal yourself and others and Tiche՛ will need a heal to be able to tank a few of Elden Beast’s attacks.
  • As well as Lord’s Divine Fortification, to greatly increase holy damage negation for both you and the summon.
  • Adding Bestial Vitality will also help to passively regenerate health, even though it's not by a lot.
  • The Faith-Knot Crystal Tear should be used in the Wondrous Physick to increase your faith and the Cerulean Hidden Tear to eliminate all FP consumption. Alternatively, you can swap the Cerulean Hidden Tear for the Strength-Knot  Crystal Tear to increase strength.
  • Use a mix between the Raptors Black Feathers as it is a great armor piece that strengthens jump attacks and the Omensmirk Mask will increase strength by 2 and the Ruler’s Mask to increase faith by 2 and the Cloth Garb to increase faith by 1, alternatively just use Maliketh’s armor as it is amazing looking and has great resistance to attacks.
  • The Shard of Alexander is a must as it is one amazing talisman that increases weapon art damage by 15%.
  • Use the Sacred Scorpion Charm to increase faith.
  • The Erdtree Favour +2 should be used as it will increase HP by 4%, increase stamina by 9.6%, and equip load by 8%
  • The last talisman should be the Claw talisman as it increases damage from jump attacks.
