Ghost Face is a strong killer in Dead by Daylight that specializes in stealth and generator defense. This menacing killer can use many perk combinations to make him strong but here is a couple that are really good.

 

5. Shape in the Shadows

This build is focused solely on generators, specific information as well as generator defense, giving you great information as well as being able to make sure that generators are difficult to repair fully.

 

Shape in the Shadows’ details:

  • Corrupt Intervention (Plague) makes 3 generators that are the furthest away blocked off at the start of the trail for 80/100/120 seconds. This makes your generator petrol area smaller, making it easier to find survivors.
  • Discordance (Legion) helps you find generators that are being worked on, specifically with 2 or more people on it. When it is being repaired within 64/96/128 meters of you and is marked with a yellow aura. When it is first highlighted it will trigger a loud noise notification. When the generator is no longer in range or is being repaired by only one survivor it will stay highlighted for another 4 seconds.
  • Pop Goes The Weasel (Clown) activates after hooking a survivor and lasts for the next 35/40/45 seconds. The next generator you kick instantly loses 25% progress and regresses normally, then it deactivates. This is useful to keep generators from being progressed.
  • Jolt (General Perk) activates when you put a survivor into the dying state with your basic attack and causes all generators within 32 meters of you to instantly explode and start regressing as well as apply an immediate 8% progress penalty. It has a cool down of 60/50/40 seconds. This helps with generator regression.

4. The Spectre

This build helps with not only finding survivors but halting generator progression. As Ghost Face is a stealth killer this allows you to be able to not only find those survivors but sneak up on them.

 

The Spectre’s details:

  • Barbecue and Chilli (Cannibal) is insanely valuable for this as it activates after you hook a survivor. It shows the aura of survivors outside of a 40-meter range of you for 4 seconds as well as gives you extra 25% BloodPoints for each stack leading up to a maximum of 50/75/100% BloodPoints. This can show you where to go next in order to find another survivor. The only downside is that if survivors are within the 40-meter range, you will be unable to see them.
  • Corrupt Intervention (Plague) as said previously, makes 3 generators that are the furthest away blocked off at the start of the trail for 80/100/120 seconds. This makes your generator petrol area smaller, making it easier to find survivors.
  • Hex: Ruin (Hag) helps save time as it will automatically start making the generator regress as soon as it stops being worked on. They will regress 100/150/200% of the normal regression speed helping you keep generators from being done, especially if you scare survivors off of generators. 
  • Infectious Fright (Plague) when a survivor is put into the dying state, all other survivors within your terror radius scream and have their locations revealed to you for 4/5/6 seconds. This gives you a good idea of where to go next if you decide to start slugging or the general direction of where to go next after you hook a survivor.

3. Screw It! Time to Become a Hooker

This one helps you with taking survivors to hooks and making sure that if you are blocked by anyone you are able to put that survivor on the hook no matter what.

 

Screw It! Time to Become a Hooker’s details:

  • Agitation (Trapper) activates when you are carrying a survivor, it increases your carrying movement speed by 6/12/18% and increases your terror radius by 12 meters. This will help you get to hooks faster.
  • Starstruck (Trickster) activates while carrying a survivor, survivors within your Terror Radius are inflicted with the Exposed status effect. The status effect lingers for 26/28/30 seconds after they leave your Terror Radius and it persists after hooking a survivor for 26/28/30 seconds for any survivor within your Terror Radius. It has a cool down of 60 seconds. This is useful as often survivors like to stay together to rescue those who are being picked up, giving you the perfect opportunity to put another in the dying state immediately.
  • Sloppy Butcher (General Perk) inflicts survivors with the mangled and hemorrhage status effects, increases the bleeding frequency by 50/75/100%, and increases the rate at which incomplete healing loses progression by 15/20/25%. All the status effects are removed when the survivor is fully healed.
  • Mad Grit (Legion) makes you have no cooldown when hitting a survivor while carrying another survivor, successfully hitting a survivor while carrying another survivor causes that survivors wiggle progression to stop for 2/3/4 seconds. This is useful if someone thinks that they can stop you from reaching hook.

2. Anti-Generator Activist

This build is good in dealing with generators and giving you information. It will help you to not only regress generators but potentially keep survivors injured.

 

Anti-Generator Activist’s details:

  • A Nurse’s Calling (Nurse) all survivors who are healing or being healed have their auras revealed to you within 20/24/28 meters of you. This helps you be able to interrupt healing and hopefully put a survivor into the dying state.
  • Corrupt Intervention (Plague) as said previously, makes 3 generators that are the furthest away blocked off at the start of the trail for 80/100/120 seconds. This makes your generator petrol area smaller, making it easier to find survivors.
  • Jolt (General Perk) as said previously, activates when you put a survivor into the dying state with your basic attack and causes all generators within 32 meters of you to instantly explode and start regressing as well as apply an immediate 8% progress penalty. It has a cool down of 60/50/40 seconds. This helps with generator regression.
  • Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (Artist) as said before turns four hooks into Scourge Hooks and are highlighted to you in white. Each time a survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, the generator with the most progress will explode and instantly lose 9/12/15% of progress and starts to regress. Survivors working on that generator will scream revealing their locations. This helps you regress generators as well as be able to track survivors if there are survivors to scream

1. Elusive Pursuer

This build gives you more information than generator defense but is still useful as information can help with being generator defensive.

 

Elusive Pursuer’s details:

  • A Nurse’s Calling (Nurse) as said previously, all survivors who are healing or being healed have their auras revealed to you within 20/24/28 meters of you. This helps you be able to interrupt healing and hopefully put a survivor into the dying state.
  • Thrilling Tremors (Ghost Face) activates after picking up a survivor and all generators that are not currently being repaired are blocked off by the Entity for the next 16 seconds and are highlighted to you in white. It has a cool down of 100/80/60 seconds. This is useful because any generators that are being worked on will not be blocked off and therefore will not be highlighted in white so you know exactly where to go and which TV to teleport to.
  • Pop Goes The Weasel (Clown) as said previously, activates after hooking a survivor and lasts for the next 35/40/45 seconds. The next generator you kick instantly loses 25% progress and regresses normally, then it deactivates. This is useful to keep generators from being progressed.
  • Lethal Pursuer (Nemesis) shows you the auras of all the survivors at the start of the trail for 7/8/9 seconds. This gives you good information as to where to go at the beginning of the trail.
 

Why Elusive Pursuer is Great:

  • Gives you useful information
  • Helps you regress generators
 

These builds are not necessary for you to have a good time playing Ghost Face but they can help those who need them. It is all up to what you need and your own personal preference.
