In Cyberpunk 2077 there are a lot of really good weapons to choose from. Pistols are one of the main weapons that everyone uses in Night City because of how universally good they are! There is a pistol for every playstyle but before we talk about Pistols, I need to briefly touch on weapon types!
The 3 Types of Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077
Tech:
Tech weapons are best suited for builds heavily specced into the Technical Ability skill tree. These weapons can often shoot through walls and enemy cover so long as you charge the shot before shooting.
Power:
Power weapons are best suited for builds specced highly into Cool or Body. These weapons usually do the highest amount of raw damage and can often be silenced for more stealth based gameplay.
Smart:
Smart weapons are best suited for builds heavily specced into the Intelligence skill tree. They always lock on to enemy weak points after aiming at them for a moment. The main downside is that you have to use a Smart Link cyberware, which takes up precious space in your Cyber Capacity slots.
5. La Chingona Dorada Twins (Power Pistol)
Jackie Welles is a character that you meet early on in Cyberpunk that is a close friend to V. After his unfortunate death in The Heist mission you will be given a few options on where to send his body. To get these pistols, choose to send him to his family. Mama Welles will call you later, attend the Ofrenda and then come back a day later to get Jackie’s twin pistols. Every headshot you get goes into a counter and when you switch to the other pistol it gives you ammo equal to the number of headshots you have. These pistols do tons of damage and replenish themselves! Also doing this gives you a free motorcycle as icing on the cake!
Stats:
- 2.9 Attack Speed
- 110 Damage, 100% Headshot Multiplier
- 1.1 Reload Speed
- 42 Effective Range
- 5.4 Weapon Handling
Excels at:
- Short to mid range due to having a 42 Effective Range.
- Long gun fights due to replenishing ammo via headshot counter.
- Stealth due to the ability to equip a silencer.
4. Dex’s Plan B (Power Pistol)
Dex chose the quiet life rather than a blaze of glory and ended up being taken out like the trash he is. Go to the spot Takemura first saves you in the dump and loot Dex’s body to get this Iconic weapon. At first glance the stats don’t seem too great, until you realize this is one of the best stealth weapons in the game. It uses money instead of ammo and has a 200% headshot multiplier along with a 20% chance of causing bleeding.

- 5.0 Attack Speed
- 60 Damage, 200% Headshot Multiplier
- 0.9 Reload Speed
- 36 Effective Range
- 7.2 Weapon Handling
Excels at:
- Short to Mid range due to having 36 Effective Range.
- Stealth due to the ability to equip a silencer AND having a 200% Headshot Multiplier.
- Taking down humans due to the bleeding chance.
3. Seraph (Power Pistol)
The Seraph is an amazing pistol that can only be acquired after completing all of Padre’s gigs. Not only is this pistol one of the cleanest looking pistols in the game, it also shoots explosive rounds. To top it off it can be silenced. This pistol is a personal favorite and will easily clear out hordes of enemies whether you’re stealthing or not.

- 3.6 Attack Speed
- 105 Damage, 150% Headshot Damage Multiplier
- 0.9 Reload Speed
- 36 Effective Range
- 7.1 Weapon Handling
Excels at:
- Short to mid range due to having 36 Effective Range.
- Stealth due to the absurd amount of damage from explosive rounds that can be silenced.
- Full assaults due to explosive damage and dealing increased damage to burning enemies.
2. Johnny’s Malorian Arms 3516 (Power Pistol)
This pistol “Has a mean streak. Like its first owner” - Actual gun description in game.
To get this pistol you need to complete Johnny’s side quest Chippin’ In. Not only does the Malorian have one of the coolest melee attacks where you literally set people on fire, but it also has really high damage and is great in almost any combat situation!

- 3.3 Attack Speed
- 122 Damage with a 150% Headshot Damage Multiplier
- 1.4 Reload Speed
- 36 Effective Range
- 9.6 Weapon Handling
Excels at:
- Short to mid range due to having 36 effective range and the fire spitting melee attack.
- Fast paced combat due to high damage output and weapon handling.
- Clearing large groups of enemies in combat.
The Number 1 Best Pistol in Cyberpunk 2077 is Her Majesty (Power Pistol)
Her Majesty is a DLC item only obtainable in the Get It Together DLC story mission. This is the best stealth pistol in the game with insane damage output while in stealth and guaranteed crits while invisible. If you want to clear out large groups of enemies while invisible and never take any damage then this pistol is the one for you!

- 100 Damage,150% Headshot Multiplier
- 0.8 Reload Speed
- 36 Effective Range
- 6.9 Weapon Handling
Excels at:
- Short to mid range due to having a 36 effective range.
- Stealth. This is the best stealth pistol in the game. Not only do you get 150% headshot damage on top of other stealth modifiers but you also get guaranteed critical hits when you are invisible.
- Full assaults due to the 100 Damage even though it’s silenced. 100 damage is an insane amount of damage per shot for any pistol but nearly no silenced pistol does full damage like this one.
