Aim training is one of the most crucial parts of improving your skills in csgo. It is one of the fundamental basics of the game that needs to be improved upon by every player, and like everything else, it requires quite a bit of practice. Aiming is a difficult skill, that is why one-third of the CSGO player base is ranked in silver. Players that have great aim will naturally climb the ranking system, whether in Matchmaking or FACEIT. But, aiming is a skill that can be trained. To train your aim effectively in CSGO, it is best to use these best aim training maps.

Every professional CSGO player uses aim training maps to train their aim daily and warm up before official matches against other pros.

Aim training maps are a staple for any player looking to improve their mechanical skills. This CSGO aim training maps list is a list of maps and a comprehensive and in-depth overview of each map from my personal experience.

10)Crosshair Generator v2

On this map, you can choose the crosshair that suits you. You can then practice aiming with bots in the area outside the crosshairs. Don't forget to shoot the chicken!

8)Recoil Master – Spray Training

If you want to improve your spray control on the AK-47, the M4 also really improves your aim well. I highly suggest you use this course as much as you can every day. Spray control can separate a good player from a great player in CSGO. This map allows you to practice recoil, you practice your spray at a target in the centre of a wall, there will be a moving green dot as you spray, this is called the ghost crosshair. If you get into a spray bottle with another player who has better recoil control than you, then you lose by default. Avoid this scenario by practising your recoil on this map.

6)Yprac Practice and Warmup Mods

Prefire maps are incredibly valuable, as they’ll not only encourage you to improve your crosshair placement but also make you aware of common spots where opponents will likely be lurking. These maps offer the full range of CS GO’s arsenal and varying levels of difficulty, where the bots will attack you. You can also select the bots’ weapons, armour and several other game conditions. This map enables you to measure how quickly you’re improving, as each map starts a timer once you select your conditions and weapon.

The more you practice, the more accurate your prefire shots should be, as you’ll learn to naturally rest your crosshair in the optimum position.

5)DC Aim and Movement Training

Movement is a big part of the game that is often overlooked and often straight-up ignore, but along with firing, a player always needs to be in control of his movements. 'DC Aim and Movement Training' practice map helps players inculcate a need of moving perfectly, improves their aims and in rhythm with their firing, making them practice their movements while they fire at various targets. You can go through its various courses and track your progress as well.

4)Training Center 1.5c

1.5c offers 5 different training scenarios.  From idle to moving, from walking to running, from dying to respawning; they’re all at your service. The Triangle and Alpha rooms have bots coming towards you, either vertically or circularly. Target practice focuses more on strafing and stationary bots. The room with the 4 arrows is similar to the Alpha room, except for more stationary bots and any obstacles. Lastly, the AWP room is designed for shooting moving targets in between small gaps, such as B doors on Dust 2. The nice thing about 1.5c is the constant repetition from shooting and moving as you develop accuracy and precision.

3)Fast Aim/Reflex Map – Training [DUST2]

Fast aim/reflex map dust 2 is a map where you stand in the centre of an arena, much like aim _botz, and practice shooting at bots that spawn in every direction and run towards you. The purpose of this map is to practice your reflexes while being approached by multiple targets, you can practice shooting players that are running at you from every direction with full velocity.                           Professional players like Xeppa and ScreaM use this map to practice their aim a lot.

2) Training_aim_csgo2

One of the best practice maps to train your aim is hands down ‘training_aim_csgo2’. The training map which was released in Jan 2014 remains to be one of the most used maps for players to improve their aim.

Players can practice with all the in-game weapons, change various training settings as per their requirements, and the best part is that the map tracks many aspects of your training, giving direct feedback on how much you have improved after the session comes to an end.

1) Aim_Botz

One of the most common practice maps in CS GO, used at least once by every player with extra training to improve the game. From idle to moving, from walking to running, from dying to respawning; they’re all at your service. It is a classic warm-up map that is easy to use and very simple.
