Cody is an avid gamer with thousands of hours dedicated to the hobby and a game catalog that would impress a librarian. Majoring in communications and journalism has allowed him to excel in writing, while years of experience as a marketing professional has enhanced his creative writing and storytelling abilities. His favorite game genre is RPGs, and that love transcends beyond video games to tabletop D&D. That's not to say he doesn't enjoy a good multiplayer shooter with the boys from time to time. If given the choice, he'd rank Fable II, The Witcher 3, and Baldur's Gate 3 as his favorites with the Fallout series getting an honorable mention.

Completing an RPG takes awhile because he searches for loot in every corner and gets engulfed by the laundry list of side quests. JRPGs are also on the menu as he's played every mainline Pokémon game with the exception of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
