Born in raised in Vienna, WV, Joshua is an independently published professional author since 2017 with more than ten grimdark fantasy horror titles currently published. He has a slew of additional novels and novellas scheduled for release in 2024, including cyberpunk and urban fantasy releases. Joshua also runs a 501(c)(3) cosplay-based fundraising organization in the Parkersburg, WV area that focuses on supporting food pantries through creative acting, cosplay, and geek-related entertainment.

As a gamer, Joshua has thousands of hours invested in a mix of RTS, RPG, and FPS games alike. As an expert storyteller, being able to see how worlds are created and to study how other creators generate believable dialogue, functional actions, and diverse storylines in games such as Skyrim, Warhammer, EverQuest, Shadowrun, and other properties has allowed him to refine his craft and to be able to describe what works - and what doesn't. At the end of the day, playing a game is a multimedia experience, and a topic worth dissecting outside of the medium itself.
